Demand is high at the Trussell Trust food charity as coordinator Lisa Lavender explains.

00:00So is this a busy time of year for the food bank Lisa?

00:07Yes it is, this is pretty much it. We're full on now from September really right through

00:14to Christmas. We get harvest donations come in and then we get lots of donations for Christmas

00:22and things like that, yeah.

00:24And it's a hive of activity as usual?

00:27Yes, you've joined us in a session this morning. We've got our ladies behind busy packing

00:33because the session is underway. We can't predict who's going to come because we don't

00:38know who's going to need us, but the sessions vary. We can be completely non-stop or we

00:44can be a steady flow or there can be a complete lull. We just don't know how it's going to go.
