00:00Robbie, what's your take on the news, first of all, that Lennie will lead the side for the rest
00:05of the season? And then if you could kind of just give a little bit of your opinion on how you think
00:09the new structure will work and who will be doing what? Yeah, it's interesting, isn't it, Rich? I
00:15mean, we were just saying it's going to be a tight squeeze on the dugout, in the dugout, I think.
00:22On Lennie, first of all, I've been really impressed with Lennie during his time as
00:28caretaker manager, which I suppose shouldn't be a surprise given his unbelievable experience,
00:34incredible record in the game, obviously nine years in charge of Charlton, a fantastic spell
00:42in charge of Middlesbrough as well, led them to the to the Premier League, time in charge of
00:46Crystal Palace, got Cardiff promoted as well, but of course hasn't been in a permanent managerial
00:53role prior to his one at Poole since his spell at Cardiff came to an end in 2005. He had a spell
00:59as Crystal Palace caretaker in 2012, but he hasn't been out of the game as such. He's worked in
01:05various consultancy and director roles at the likes of Newport, Stevenage and, of course,
01:11most recently Poole's prior to taking caretaker charge. I think if you'd asked me a month ago
01:17when he first took over as caretaker whether he was going to become the next permanent manager,
01:21I would have said, in truth, no chance. But obviously he did a really good job in the three
01:26games he had as interim boss. Poole's took five points from those three matches, including a
01:31couple of testing away games and played really well when they beat Aldershot at home a couple
01:37of weeks ago, beat them resoundingly 2-0 and it could have been a few more had it not been
01:41for a heroic goalkeeping performance from Marcus Dewhurst. And after that game, Lennie Lawrence
01:47sort of alluded to the fact that all possibilities remained on the table.
