4x4 car Reverse Vibration Explained by Giri kumar.

00:00Hello friends, before we get into this video, there is a video coming up, check it out
00:11So recently, this video of this Thar Rocks 5 door has gone viral
00:18Many people are sharing their opinions
00:21Some people are asking why it is going so fast in reverse
00:24So even though there are many points of view
00:28I am going to share some of the things I know about this
00:31So the reason for the suspension to get so shattered is
00:36Usually, you have two types of axles
00:39Usually, in off-roading or 4x4 vehicles, we call this axle a live axle
00:46Or we call it a strong axle or a beam axle
00:49So how does this function?
00:51For example, the beam axle is just stiff
00:54So when the vehicle moves, it moves like this
00:57So the other axle is called IFS or IRS
01:01Independent front suspension or independent rear suspension
01:05So how does it function when there is an indulation on the road?
01:09So this live axle will function together because it is a single beam
01:15But how does independent suspension work?
01:18When it is an independent suspension, the axle moves like a tire
01:22Its differential also functions differently
01:24So if you want a detailed video on differentials, do share it in the comment section
01:28I will make a video on differentials in-depth
01:32So coming back to these videos
01:34In this video, if you see
01:35Mahindra Thar Rocks or Fortuner
01:38When they reverse in high throttle or high acceleration
01:41The suspension gets shattered, it gets very fluctuated
01:45It takes some time for it to standstill or stabilize
01:48When they reverse in linear throttle, it moves very subtly
01:52There are two reasons for this
01:54As I said earlier, these are all live axle suspensions
01:57You can see this in heavy vehicles, lorries, or mutters
02:01These live axles are mostly used in commercial vehicles
02:05So why do they use this live axle in off-road running?
02:09Because it has lesser parts and bigger parts
02:12So it has a lot of strength
02:14So it has the capacity to withstand the impact of off-road capabilities
02:19If you look at IFS or IRS independent suspensions
02:23It has a lot of smaller parts
02:25Lower arm, upper arm, bolts
02:27It has a lot of small parts
02:30So when we off-road in these vehicles
02:32We can't take the impact of off-road
02:35So that's why you can see it in normal SUVs
02:38So in off-road vehicles, they mostly use live axle suspensions
02:43So another major thing is
02:46In this, the weight-based
02:49Without the car's curve weight, its full capacity
02:52If it's a 5-seater or 6-seater
02:55If we reverse in its full weight
02:57It will have less shatter
03:00So if we go in full speed in a lorry without any weight
03:05You will automatically feel the shatter in the back
03:08Because of the live axle
03:09So if its weight has a certain speed
03:12That shatter won't work for you
03:14So this is the reason behind it
03:17If you know any other reason, do share it with me in the comment section
03:21If you know anything else
03:23Like I said, if you want an in-depth video on axles or differentials
03:29Do let me know
03:31I will come and generate a video for you
03:33So like and share this video
03:35Don't forget to subscribe to Tamil Drives Park
03:37It's me Giri signing off for Tamil Drives Park
03:39We will definitely meet in another video
03:41Until then, stay safe and drive safe
