00:00This is the PTV news for now. All hospitals in the country are now code white alert for the spread of COVID-19.

00:11In the special report of the PTV, Health Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo said,

00:17this is the assurance that all hospitals are ready for any medical emergencies.

00:22The DOH assured that all operations centers of hospitals are on standby,

00:28as well as the regional and central offices of the agency.

00:32Meanwhile, the DOH reminded visitors in the cemeteries to ensure that their food and drinks are not contaminated to avoid poisoning.

00:45In Ifugao, a unique ritual is performed to honor and respect the Yumao.

00:52This is called Dibdibon, where the bones of the Yumao are hanged to dry.

01:00When it is cleaned and dried, it is wrapped with ethnic attire.

01:06The family also hangs a pig for the ritual.

01:10Explained by the people of Ifugao, this is part of their culture,

01:14so that the Yumao can remain silent and not harm their loved ones.

01:20We do not really preserve, but we integrate, we inculturate.

01:25Our culture is being integrated in our faith.

01:28Because there are many bearing the good points of it.

01:36More than 27,000 passengers have passed through the borders of the country today.

01:43According to the Philippine Coast Guard, more than 13,000 passengers got off the ship,

01:50while more than 14,000 people boarded the ship to return to the provinces.

01:57In addition, the PCG remains on heightened alert until November 5.
