(Adnkronos) - Petrucci: “Nelle discipline STEM il gender gap è ancora fortemente marcato. Bisognerebbe agire quando i ragazzi sono ancora molto piccoli, perché ormai studi scientifici hanno dimostrato che la differenza di genere si sviluppa già in giovanissima età”.  Lo ha affermato Alessandra Petrucci, Rettrice dell’Università di Firenze, alla presentazione del report “Osservatorio STEM 2024 - Empowering the multiple transitions through STEM skills”, lo studio, realizzato da Fondazione Deloitte e dal Public Policy Program di Deloitte.

00:50At my university, the Università degli Studi di Firenze, the situation is quite similar to that of other universities, but I must say that I have also noticed very positive signals.
01:01In some cases, we are also above the average, so I am talking, for example, about biomedical engineering, where we have a clear prevalence of girls compared to boys.
01:14Indeed, even in other disciplines, such as IT, there is still this percentage that is extremely low.
