00:19Vicky, it is possible that it will take a few weeks, if not months, for the residents of Tagalibon Albay to return to normal life,

00:26like those who lost their homes here in Barangay Borabod, in the town of Libo,

00:30that until now, have not experienced or are still losing electricity.

00:39A large pile of stones fell from the mountain, almost 30 houses here in Barangay Borabod.

00:46From the slope, the vastness of the land was seen when the Christine typhoon hit.

00:51A resident is still being searched for and believed to be dead in the landslide.

00:55Vilma Rosal is one of the survivors who left the house to see the landslides that happened when the typhoon hit.

01:01When she returned, the house and two cars were no longer in their original place.

01:06They were swept away by the tornado.

01:09I told my husband that I was there.

01:12I thanked God and thanked the people.

01:16And they were able to take the house out.

01:19When they were able to take it out, they said it was only for a few seconds.

01:23There, it's already there.

01:25Those who lost their homes were moved to a relocation site, not far from those whose houses were destroyed.

01:31The three-square-mile landslide will not bring down the road leading to the coastal barangays.

01:37Some roads are already covered with soil beneath.

01:41Those who are evacuating to Manila or who are buying supplies to return to Barangay Pantau

01:46are forced to travel long distances.

01:48But when the motorbike can no longer handle it, they are forced to walk in the white sand.

02:03We were supposed to leave because it was already raining.

02:05We were not able to leave because the water in our house was clogged.

02:13All our trips were canceled.

02:17The barangay's market was swept away because it was flooding.

02:19Tumputic left it and the residents started to clean it up.

02:23In Bonbon Elementary School, many rooms are already clean

02:28but the roads are still full of mud and the computers and books are broken.

02:33Residents are also asking for help with the distribution that the Philippine Red Cross did earlier.

02:39Even though some evacuees have already returned home,

02:42they still need food and most of all, clean drinking water.

02:47We can't drink the drinking water that comes from Libon.

02:51There's no drinking water because all the ponds are flooded.

02:55It tastes bad. We can't drink it.

03:02Vicky, according to the last report of the Albay Provincial Government,

03:05there are still almost 2,000 families in evacuation centers.

03:09Here in the town of Libon,

03:10three more barangays are isolated because of the cut roads.
