00:00Meanwhile, in other news, the rape case of a man in Rizal was reported in 2011.

00:08He was caught by the authorities while the suspect was having an argument with a woman he was with.

00:14The crime is being investigated and we have the first news. This is EJ Gomez.

00:21This man went straight to jail.

00:23After being arrested by the police in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City,

00:27he was released yesterday afternoon.

00:29According to the police, a 30-year-old man was arrested last week.

00:35Before the two charges were settled,

00:37it was discovered that the man was facing an arrest warrant because of the rape case.

00:43We searched our records that he had five counts of rape.

00:47So, instead of settling, the police came and arrested him because this is a warrant of arrest.

00:54This is based on a warrant of arrest and he was arrested for rape.

00:59The crime happened in 2011 in Antipolo City.

01:03The accused was 17 years old when he was identified as Alias Dar,

01:07the victim was 13 years old according to the police.

01:11In February 2012, the arrest warrant against Dar was issued,

01:15which is one of five counts of rape.

01:18He was the only one who was issued a warrant of arrest because he did not surrender

01:23or undergo CSWD in our social welfare.

01:30He has been looking for a law for 12 years.

01:33He will only have closure now because he was arrested.

01:35Gang rape was the complaint filed against them by the mother of the victim.

01:39But according to the accused, there is no truth to the charge.

01:43The release of a minor victim is the root of the problem for them.

01:48The parents called us.

01:51If my son does not go home at this time, I will have you arrested.

01:55Why are you arresting us? She is our friend.

01:58She does not want to go home.
