00:00The government is encouraging local government units to use the geo-hazard map made by the
00:06Mines and Geosciences Bureau, or MGB, as guide for their disaster preparedness measures.
00:12The geo-hazard map can indicate where landslides may occur when there is a heavy downpour due
00:18to a weather disturbance.
00:20The MGB also releases forecasts for barangays that may be affected in relation to Pagasa's
00:26weather forecast.
00:27Authorities constantly update the geo-hazard map which has a high accuracy rate and can
00:32be accessed through MGB's website or an online search of HazardHunterPH.
