00:00Six consecutive losses for New Orleans. A lot of this six-game skid has been marred by injury,
00:10and that is mainly at the quarterback spot to Derek Carr. But some good news for New Orleans
00:16entering week number nine. Carr, dealing with the oblique injury, is expected to be back at
00:22practice tomorrow, Joe, which is a very good sign he can return for this week nine game on Sunday
00:29for New Orleans as the Saints really will try to stop this skid and get back into the win column.
00:36They should have a great opportunity to do so. Divisional game, but they're on the road
00:40in Carolina against the Panthers as a touchdown favorite at this moment.
00:48Is it really, though, a blessing to get Carr back? Because my goodness, I mean, this not only
00:55offensively, and we all were giving kudos to this team, you know, and their new OC comes in,
01:03right, and we're going, oh, my goodness, this is going to be fantastic. Oh, look at the scheming.
01:09They're going to drop 40. No, it looks like defensive coordinators have figured out your
01:14blocking scheme and aren't that impressed, and quite honestly, with the injuries, and more
01:19importantly, Ben, who are they stopping on defense lately? This defense is atrocious. It's not a
01:25well-coached team at all. You know, Derek Carr, no Derek Carr here. Congratulations. You won't,
01:32you know, you'll lose by 10 instead of the 17 you were planning on losing by without him. So,
01:38I think it gets from bad to worse with this organization. Talk about
01:42an organization in need of an overhaul. I think the Saints are exactly that.
