00:00Officers attended business on Newhall Lane on Monday afternoon following concerns regarding illegal alcohol sales at the premises.
00:07The store was searched under Section 180 of the Licensing Act 2003 where it was discovered the store had continued to sell alcohol over the weekend.
00:16This was despite the business being given verbal and written warnings to seize alcohol sales and remove it from their displays.
00:23All alcohol was subsequently seized by police.
00:27Officers are now looking to prosecute under the Licensing Act.
00:30Should a conviction be obtained, police will request a deprivation order for the alcohol which will then be given to the appropriate charities.
