00:00I got to watch the first episode and seeing you two on screen together honestly was just pure magic.
00:05What was it like sharing those scenes together again and getting to return to these two roles?
00:10It felt like pure magic. I mean it did feel like going home you know it's so funny because when
00:16I showed it to my mom she literally just died laughing she said you two yeah she goes you two
00:22just still have it. Oh she said that? Yes because I think we bring out that we bring that out of
00:30we've always just a second it's action we're just like playing ping pong. It's just fun
00:34so this has all been very wonderful. I'm happy your mom said that that means a lot. She's here.
00:40Oh good good I want to see her. You still have that brother and sister dynamic going on on screen.
00:45That's very much accurate. A hundred percent there's some really touching moments that harken
00:50back right to the original show in a very sentimental way. But also in real life it's like
00:55I feel like you're very protective of me and it's very yeah we're very I'm always like so what's
01:02what's going on I'm a little like I kind of stir the pot a little. Yes. What has it been like also
01:10being executive producers and sort of shepherding and leading these young actors and making sure
01:15that they have a positive experience on the show? I mean we both we've both been doing this for a
01:20long time and I think we seek to bring our best experiences forward when we're working with young
01:24people especially kids. So for me it's like very much on the forefront of my mind to help
01:29enable an atmosphere that makes them the best that they can be in that moment. And it's been
01:33wonderful it's been wonderful they really we cast some really talented kids and they've just gotten
01:37better and better and better and better. Yeah and I think the only thing I can provide is the love
01:42and support that they're gonna need during this time because hopefully it's a life-changing
01:47experience. For both of you when you first walked on set and were back in the Russo family lair for
01:52the first time what was going through your mind? A lot I mean it just memories it was so emotional
02:00but it was also that's where we started every show in front of a live audience and that's where we'd
02:05leave so it was it's crazy yeah it's hard to put to words but very meaningful all those feelings
02:12come back you didn't know we're still there like kid like feelings and yeah it was wonderful. And
02:17I love seeing that the two of you are still friends all these years later I feel like that's
02:20really rare of people who were on Disney Channel during your era what does your guys's friendship
02:24mean to each other? I think for me it's so important that I have someone in my life that
02:31knew me before you know most of my friends are definitely people that I've learned to love and
02:37trust but David was there the first time I ever experienced any sort of fame like things and
02:45and I think he's he saw and continues to see through that and he'll tell me the truth and
02:51I like that yeah yeah no we've been friends a long time and when you're friends before
02:56big events happen I think there's that that meaningful memory that you know of one another and
03:01she knows I he's stuck with me so
