00:06BRP Teresa Magbanwa is heading to Bicol Region to deliver 14,000 family food packs.

00:13The remaining food is from DSWD Region 7,

00:17which will be added to the relief packs that were delivered in Bicol.

00:21BRP Teresa Magbanwa is expected to visit Naga City today.

00:26The food packs will be distributed to our fellow countrymen who were affected by the typhoon.

00:33President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. assured that he will help those who were affected by the typhoon.

00:44The typhoon Leon was a severe tropical storm.

00:47According to the report,

00:49the center of the typhoon was last seen 735 km east of Casiguran, Aurora,

00:56or 789 east of Echagüe, Isabela.

01:00The strong winds reached 85 km per hour,

01:04and the heavy rains reached 115 km per hour.

01:09Because of this, the signal number one in Isabela,

01:13Ilocos Norte, Abra, Apayao, Calinga,

01:17eastern portion of Mountain Province,

01:20eastern portion of Ifugao, Quirino,

01:23northern portion of Aurora,

01:25and northern portion of Catanduanes.

01:28According to the forecast,

01:29it will continue to rain in the northern part of Luzon for the next few days.

01:36Those who are affected should continue to be careful.

01:41In other news, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. assured

01:45that the modernization of Lagindingan Airport will help in the development of Northern Mindanao.

01:51Today, a 12.75 billion pesos concession agreement was signed

01:57between the Department of Transportation and the private sector

02:01for the expansion and modernization of the airport.

02:04According to the President,

02:06it is expected to attract more jobs and more active tourism in the region.
