00:00Coach Bowden another top 25 tilt on this significant Saturday in the SEC. 15th ranked Alabama suffering
00:11its second loss of the year last week against Tennessee and a Missouri team only one loss but
00:17without key contributors offensively. No Brady Cook their starting quarterback, no Nate Noel
00:22who has run for more than 500 yards this year for Mizzou. Coach from the coaching perspective,
00:28Kalen DeBoer trying to get this Alabama team back on track in his first year in Tuscaloosa.
00:33How does he do that today against Mizzou? Well it's not today it's throughout that week.
00:38Alabama's number one enemy is themselves. They're undisciplined. They're 126 in penalties. They had
00:4415 for 115 yards against in their last ball game and that's why they couldn't come back and win
00:49the game because they had penalties on fourth and seven that went to fourth and 22. They've got to
00:54be more disciplined and then not turn the ball over with Milrow. Now I think they got their
00:58attention. I know a lot of people in Alabama they have been on Alabama all week and it ain't
01:02sounded good. I think that tension was got and Cook and Noel missing it changes everything for
01:08Missouri. So not only am I taking Alabama to correct there because that's very correctable
01:12those kind of mistakes penalties and turnovers are correctable. I think knowledge is Alabama
01:16women that they cover. Coach let's look at the Missouri side right you mentioned they're
01:21shorthanded. What could they do? Are they they're playing a little bit with house money as well
01:26right? Nobody's expecting them to win this matchup. Maybe more pressure on Alabama. So do you think
01:32Drakewitz and Missouri favor a lower scoring game or do they pull out all the stops maybe with some
01:37trick plays in this matchup? I think they think about a lower scoring game when you're trying to
01:43beat somebody that lines up with better personnel. You've got to slow the game down. You've got to
01:48have drives. You've got to run the clock. Try to go as slow as you can. Take as much time off on each
01:52play and keep the game close into the second half. Because remember Alabama not only are they on
01:57disparate but they probably lost some confidence in the way in which they've lost games. So the
02:01key is get them to get them into the second half close and all of a sudden Alabama begins to worry
02:07and the confidence of Missouri begins to increase.
