00:00The game of the year in college football on this week five
00:06Saturday slate to Tuscaloosa. We go once again a top five tilt
00:11number two Georgia visits number four Alabama could it
00:14snap a 113 game consecutive home streak for the Crimson Tide
00:20as a favorite Georgia Kev has won 42 consecutive regular
00:25season games entering tonight since a four game win streak
00:29ended out 2020 for UGA. They have lost two football games in
00:34their last 51 both Ls against Bama in the two SEC
00:39championship games. We have seen contested between the two
00:42in 2021 and a season ago. Georgia has been dominant. How
00:46does that dominance carry over tonight to Tuscaloosa? So I do
00:49think you're going to see a really good offensive game from
00:52Georgia. My best bet on this game is over at 49 and a half.
00:55If it's moved up, I'm going to probably continue to play this
00:58number up to to really set the stage here from the preseason. I
01:02like Bama in this game because of what Kalen DeBoer has done
01:04off of buys. When you look at Washington last year had extra
01:07prep time going to Eugene and playing Oregon. They win that
01:10game extra prep time going to the semifinal against Texas.
01:13They win that game multiple wins against ranked opponents in
01:16prior seasons as well, and I think you're going to see the
01:19Bama offense because of how good Kalen DeBoer is in that
01:22department hit those big explosive plays that we can
01:25Count on, but Georgia can also carry this number if need to be
01:30last game was one of their worst offensive performances.
01:32Lee see in quite some time. This team has not been held
01:36under 30 points in consecutive games since 2020. You look at
01:41last year. Their games under 30 the follow up performances
01:44that they had 495163. I don't know if they get that high. I
01:51would be stunned if one of these teams doesn't get to 30
01:54tonight. I think they both can get into that number here, Joe,
01:57which is why I love the over. Oh, it's a nice look and we
01:59talk about Georgia's ability to pound the rock and run the
02:02football more consistently with ETN back there 7879 yards and
02:06back to back games. They're averaging 5.4 yards per rush.
02:10That's going to be the Georgia offense right there. You start
02:13fast. I believe work with Carson back and then run the
02:15football a little bit later because I gotta believe that
02:18Alabama wants to take away the rushing attack first the back
02:21We talked about it, Ben. They're only giving up 115
02:24passing yards per game. The concern or I would say the cap
02:27perspective for me is it's it could be skewed right.
02:31Wisconsin Tyler Van Dyke gets hurt right in the first half
02:34lock. It was terrible and atrocious and USF with Byron
02:37Brown was only averaging 160 passing yards per game. This is
02:42a different animal with Carson Beck. Love it and Smith are
02:45going to challenge that defense over the top. I would like to
02:47see more tight ends get involved in the Georgia offense the way
02:51Bowers was, but I still think in this type of situation with
02:55Kirby smart. I'm willing. It's basically a pick right. That's
02:58why I like Georgia here. I think they're a little bit more
03:01battle tested and the staff is battle tested in the SEC. It's
03:04not a knock on the board, which is that there's a lot of
03:07pressure in regards to this matchup and Georgia hasn't
03:10given up a rushing touchdown all year. If Mill Row could
03:13break that that could be an added dimension to get the
03:15upset. They did allow 170 yards on the ground to Kentucky. They
03:19were out gained against the cats in Lexington now two
03:23weekends ago in Kentucky is the worst SEC offense. So Georgia
03:27needs to improve on that side of the ball in limiting Jalen
03:30Mill Row and the Crimson Tide and of course an offensive
03:33uptick is needed quickly on Mill Row. We are seeing history so
03:38far for the Crimson Tide signal caller who has maybe been
03:41unleashed with the offensive mind. That is Kalen DeBoer, the
03:44only Alabama quarterback ever in three consecutive games to
03:48multiple pass touchdowns in multiple rushing scores.
03:51Alabama has been explosive offensively. How much of a
03:55challenge do they present to the Bulldogs tonight? Well,
03:57again, he's athletic and I think the RPO game is going to
04:01be very beneficial to that offense to stay in manageable
04:04third down situations. Haynes and Miller, the rushing attack
04:07averaging well over 200 yards per game, right? So when you
04:10have that tempo and you're running up tempo against
04:13Georgia, you have the potential to wear them down, but Jalen
04:16Mill Row, if he gets hot, if he's running the football and
04:19seeing the field clearly breaks contained, he can take this
04:22game over. It's very important for Georgia to get him into
04:25long third downs and more importantly, guys, the pass
04:28rush over the past couple of years for Georgia hasn't been
04:31as dominant. They have to get some pressure on Jalen Mill Row
04:34tonight.
