कोलकाता में दाना चक्रवात के दौरान एक दर्दनाक हादसे में युवक की मौत हो गई। यहां भवानीपुर के जस्टिस द्वारकानाथ रोड पर भरे पानी में करंट फैलने से सौरभ गुप्ता नाम के युवक की जान चली गई। सौरभ की उम्र 22 साल थी। सौरभ के दोस्तों के मुताबिक, करंट लगने से सौरभ पानी में गिरा तब वे लोग उसे बचाने के लिए आने लगे, लेकिन सौरभ ने उन्हें वहां आने से मना कर दिया। इसके बाद सौरभ के दोस्त बगल की बिल्डिंग में पावर कट करने पहुंचे, जहां से खुली तार से बिजली लीक हुई थी। कुछ देर बाद पावर कट किया गया, जिसके बाद सौरभ को अस्पताल ले जाया गया। यहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
