00:00Who are maybe some of your top players, maybe top three or top five from this 2024 season
00:08before I run through mine?
00:10Well, number five is really tough for me because it came down to Alyssa Thomas and Sabrina
00:15Nescu.
00:16I went with Sabrina Nescu.
00:17One day when your team won the championship and they're playing, we talked about before
00:20the game three, not the dagger she hit, but how about the dagger earlier on with less
00:25than a minute to play?
00:26Two daggers and shit.
00:27Number five, Sabrina Nescu.
00:28Number four, Nafisha Collier.
00:30Number two in the NBP voting, going into the next round of errors, number four.
00:33Number three, Kaitlyn Clark.
00:35Folks, the Olympic break, forget all the noise of whether she was on the team or not, was
00:40the best thing for that kid.
00:42She got rest.
00:43She got her able to get her legs on the organ.
00:46She was fantastic.
00:47So was the Indiana fever.
00:49Let's see what happens with re-signing Kelsey Mitchell, right, and what they do with Nilsa
00:53Smith.
00:54And now there's rumors about Stephanie White possibly from Connecticut going there.
00:57That's a damn mess.
00:58You're talking to coaches that's finalists when they already have a coach there.
01:01Figure that one out, unless she got fired tonight.
01:04Number two, obviously I'm going to go with Breanna Stewart.
01:06And number one, Asia Wilson.
01:08Now listen, the way Asia's underachieved had nothing to do with Asia Wilson.
01:12It had to do with the three-point shooting and the fact that Chelsea Gray.
01:16Let's see also what happens.
01:17Sneaky one here.
01:18Kelsey Plum, free agent, unrestricted.
01:21Does she come back or does she go to the Valkyries?
01:25Why?
01:26She's from California.
01:27Nice way to start off that franchise, but that's superstar Kelsey Plum.
01:31Wow, that's a great thing to keep an eye on during this offseason, coach.
01:36Now don't be mad.
01:37I swear, I swear, I swear if I could pick a top six, Asia Wilson would be the queen
01:42of it all.
01:43Right?
01:44There was a number of times she put this entire team on her back and just carried the workload
01:48and had phenomenal finishes.
01:50When you talk about a player from top to bottom, checking all the boxes, Wilson was it.
01:54But she did not make my top five, unfortunately.
01:57Of course, number one for me is Collier.
01:59Again, somebody who did it all from points to rebounds to steals.
02:02I mean, to come in second place when it comes to steals, her defensive effort matched her
02:05offensive effort and vice versa.
02:07And it came in strong for the Lynx numerous times this season.
02:10Some highlights were her playing versus New York, Seattle, as well as Connecticut had
02:13a career-high 42 points in the playoffs a month ago.
02:16Stay hot, Collier.
02:17And then you and I have talked about her so much.
02:19Sabrina Inescu.
02:20How do you not?
02:21I mean, she was sitting in fifth when it came to assist on the season, fourth when
02:25it came to three-pointers, made obviously that clutch three-pointer with a second left
02:28in the game.
02:29And then you mentioned the other one that was equally just as clutch if you really paid
02:32attention to said game, Crucial Games versus L.A., Seattle, and Chicago.
02:37Clayton Clark.
02:38I'm right there with you on that.
02:39Angel Reese is right there for me as well.
02:40But Tina Charles.
02:41I mean, for what that team went through this season and the ways that she had to help out
02:44there, 9.6 rebounds on average, sitting fourth, giving the Atlanta Dream hope on a number
02:49of streaks after the Olympic break.
02:51I had to have her a part of my list.
02:53But Aja Wilson is right there too.
02:54Any final thoughts of the season, Coach, before we close out the final episode?
02:57Shout out to the OG, Tina Charles.
03:00Funny story.
03:01Saw her play high school at Christ the King High School.
03:04She may have been the best high school player I've ever seen, besides someone no one knows
03:08about named Kristen Simoji.
03:09Shout out to Kristen Simoji.
03:10And shout out to the team.
03:11First year we did this show.
03:12We're going to run it back next year.
03:13Casey, as long as you invite me back.
