00:00Coach, you started running us through some of the players and obviously you made the
00:07keynote to say the stars have to be the stars tonight, which I couldn't agree more.
00:10We've seen these teams kind of slide off a little bit when their key players are contained
00:14or do not show up.
00:16So where are you edging when it comes to looking at best bets for tonight?
00:19And most importantly, who are your stars on your betting card?
00:22Well, if people can kind of go with this, I've been on this kid for a long time.
00:28With Leona Femich, Leona's prop is to get 10 plus points at minus 110.
00:34And you're saying to yourself, well, the coach, this girl only scored 6.7 points per game.
00:39But folks, how about the fact that she has gone 10 plus points at four out of her last
00:43five games.
00:44She's played critical moments and she's played 28 minutes plus.
00:48They need her for defense, but also her ability to make threes.
00:52Her three point prop, two plus made threes, I think it was at minus 162.
00:55I didn't like it.
00:56So I figured if she's going to get six from three, she gets four more.
00:59Leona Femich, 10 plus points.
01:01Next, we're going to go to Sabrina Inescu.
01:04I've been, you know, people know that I've known this kid for a while.
01:07I saw this kid practice when she was at Oregon.
01:10And this is a player that I really think people forgot how great of a player she was, particularly
01:15at Oregon because she got robbed of her chance to win a national championship because of
01:20the COVID outbreak and the fact that they did not have an NCAA tournament her senior
01:25year.
01:27Sab to make over two and a half made threes.
01:29I think those last two threes were big for her.
01:31If you look at it, just about the attempts, eight, five, nine, eight in this, I'm sorry,
01:37eight was the last game versus Las Vegas.
01:39So she's going to get the attempts and she's not afraid to have the ball in her hands.
01:44I'd like her to go over two and a half made threes at minus 146.
01:48As regards to the game case, I said take the Liberty at minus 158.
01:56It's now minus 162.
01:58Maybe too rich for people's blood, but I can't mess around with the points with it being
02:01three and a half because this could easily be a one, two, or a three point win for the
02:05Liberty kind of like the last game at three and a half point favorites or one by three.
02:09So I think you let the game play live.
02:11If they're losing, then jump on the Liberty because I think I said she's already commercial
02:16break.
02:17The only way I think Minnesota wins is a blowout.
02:20If it's close, it's New York.
02:22So if the game is close, particularly in the first half, jump on the Liberty live.
02:26As long as you get under one minus one 50, they steal it and they win the WNBA championship
02:31tonight.
02:32Oh, those are tough, tough words for me coach, but I can't entirely disagree.
02:38I just have to see what happens in game four.
02:42Now, before we wrap up here on WNBA today, and even though your betting card just slightly
02:47just ever so slightly diminished some of my hope, I'm going to ask you this.
02:52What are some underdogs or some players that are not the key players, the star players,
02:56the ones we're always talking about that fans should be keeping an eye on and regardless
03:00of the result tonight, probably players that will continue to watch and the upcoming season
03:04to make an impact.
03:05Well, listen, I think when you look at a team like Minnesota, you got to look at, you know,
03:10people that can knock down shots.
03:12This is a team that usually shoots the ball really well from three, but a struggle.
03:16So I'm looking at Bridget Carrollton over one and a half made threes at minus 188.
03:20It's a lot of it.
03:21So if you can find her to make three plus threes, that could be something because I
03:24think they're going to have to be able to stretch the floor and knock down threes.
03:28Search around right now.
03:29Carrollton is at plus 154 to make three plus made threes.
03:33I think she's got to be a key here.
03:35McBride shot the ball better in game number three, making I think three, three.
03:40So even her at three plus made threes, McBride, Carrollton, if you think that Minnesota is
03:45going to win, those two have to knock down shots.
03:50It's those two shooting that opens the floor for Big Feast and Nafisha Khalid do her work.
03:55So if you like Minnesota, throw in McBride, throw in Carrollton, three plus made threes
04:00each.
04:01I think that will be the key for them to get this back to New York for game five.
