00:14his family cannot afford to raise the money needed for the release of his son.

00:19Kidnappers who are holding his 29-year-old son, Mohammad Adi Azrin, captive in Myanmar,

00:24demanded a US$30,000 ransom.

00:28The 60-year-old Abdul Rahman said Adi fell victim to fake lucrative job offers abroad,

00:33where he was offered an all-paid-for five-day trip to Thailand, with a pay of about 500 ringgit.

00:39He was sad and crying and begging for money.

00:43He knew I didn't have money, he knew I couldn't afford it,

00:47but he asked me to try to find his friends, to ask them to lend me money.

00:54I didn't want to call him at first, but as a father, I couldn't control my daughter.

01:07I prayed to him, I said, you try to be patient, be strong, don't have anything.
