00:00Today is the day I lost a mentor, where in Malaysia, I lost a patriot who did a lot of
00:24service to his beloved country.
00:27Today is a sad day I lost a mentor and a day in which Malaysia loses a son, a proud son
00:39of the country.
00:41I am indebted to Tundayim.
00:47Tundayim has guided me, taught me and was always with me even when I fell and woke up.
01:00I pray that his soul is placed with the believers and I hope that we can all continue to pray
01:09and give spirit to his family.
01:15Even before my entrance to politics, 2015-2016, even before I ran for my first election, during
01:24my first meet-up with Tundayim which was in a very small gathering, he will always stress
01:31the need for me to build good values because good values transcend politics, partisanship
01:38and these good values are values like I need to be diligent, I need to be hardworking,
01:43I need to be resilient, I need to have grit in order to make Malaysia a great country.
01:50And even when I was in government, I'll have the opportunity to speak to him almost every
01:58month, in which I'll seek for his advice and at the same time listen to his wisdom and
02:05experience because he has had decades of experience whether in private or public sector,
02:13whether in politics or outside of politics.
02:18And even before his passing in the late one or two years, he has been remarkably, remarkably
02:26kind, compassionate and helpful in being there, not just for me but for many others.
02:34Day in and day out, so I am indebted to him.
