00:00In Northern Luzon, clearing operations have already started in some parts of Cordillera,

00:04which has been reported to have lost land even in tourist destinations in Baguio City.

00:09In Ilocos Region, relief and rescue operations are underway in the areas of Pangasinan.

00:14Christine Bornolia is in the house of the PTV Cordillera in Centro ng Balita.

00:20The government's help to the almost 1,700 families of the victims of Baguio-Christine in Cordillera was well received.

00:30Family food packs and non-food items were immediately given to those in evacuation centers

00:36and those who are staying with their loved ones.

00:39DSWD also provided additional supply of relief goods to various towns in Cordillera.

00:45More than 5,000 individuals were affected by the typhoon in more than 100 barangays in six provinces and cities in the region.

00:54A house was reported to be totally damaged, while 50 were partially damaged.

01:00According to DPWH, there are still 14 national road sections in Cordillera that have not yet been cleared due to heavy landslides.

01:09Clearing operations are still underway for the 61 landslide incidents.

01:15We are still monitoring for possible landslides that will occur again.

01:22We have prepositioned all our equipment and they are ready to respond anytime there are landslides that will occur.

01:36Landslides were also reported in various places in Baguio City, such as Kabahayan at Celestial Village and Victoria Village in Lansangan.

01:45No injuries were reported in the reported incidents.
