00:00How do you feel tonight? Exciting to be here.
00:02Oh, so excited to be here. So honored, privileged just to be in a room with the women of this caliber is an honor in itself.
00:10Absolutely. So, Variety's first Courage Award. I mean, what does this mean to you? Because it really has a big impact on a lot of women.
00:18Yes, I am so touched. I was shocked, to be honest. But I'm so proud to be receiving this from Variety and Purina.
00:30Because it really does, I think women like myself, as well as men, people who have been in these situations just want to be seen and heard.
00:42And it really takes so much courage to just live everyday life in that situation, as well as after, even when you get out of it.
00:50It takes courage to wake up every morning and be strong within yourself after being put down for so many years.
00:59So, I'm so, so touched and honored.
01:03Thank you so much for doing that for us. We're very excited to honor you.
01:06And I want to ask, because we've been talking to everybody tonight, Carol Burnett is making a show about her upbringing in the industry and about how it happened for her.
01:16If you were to make a show about your upbringing, what would the plot be? What would it be like?
01:21Oh, my God. A very, very, very dark comedy with a lot of musical theater numbers.
01:32I mean, I think you have some friends in that world that could maybe help out, because I think we have some tonight here.
01:37I think, I think. Methinks. I am not at the Carol Burnett level, nor will I ever be, to be able to have anything like that happen, but possibly, yes.
