00:08Of course, Jamie, they were addressing the beginning of the plenary session of the 16th BRICS Summit.
00:16And all of them were being, of course, broadcasted, but in the beginning after that,
00:22the cameras were switched off and they continued their plenary session behind closed doors.
00:28But what we heard during those few minutes, when they were addressing to the public,
00:33of course, to everybody, was that they are supporting the idea of a multipolar world.
00:38They are supporting the idea of resolving all unresolved issues
00:42in a peaceful manner throughout the world.
00:45And of course, the Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the world shouldn't underestimate
00:52and sideline the desires and the goals of the global South.
00:58We must build BRICS for peace and act as guardians of common security.
01:05Only by practicing a common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security concept
01:11can we pave the way for universal security.
01:15On the sidelines of this meeting, countries, of course, understandably conducting their own
01:19bilateral meetings, among them China and India. Do we know what they've discussed?
01:29Yes, it was one of the most sought after meetings here among the media people in Kazan,
01:35because it was a meeting of leaders of two countries which had the most population of the
01:41world. And it was interesting that they had reached an agreement that everything what they
01:47are doing should be done in a peaceful manner and that they should be used and taken as an example
01:53to the rest of the world how any kind of conflicts, how any kind of dispute should be
01:58resolved among the countries around the world. And this was something that was very much
