00:00Well, I've been so excited to talk to you because we are here at Disney night, you're
00:05going back to your Disney roots, so what was it like to kind of tap back into this character
00:10and also have Milo and Meg join you for rehearsals?
00:13It was incredible.
00:15I love Meg and Milo, they're some of my favorite people on this planet.
00:18And so to have their support, especially this week, which was a very tough week for me mentally
00:24and emotionally, it was perfect timing.
00:27They just really uplifted me, they're always in my corner, always cheering me on, they're
00:32some of the best friends I could ask for.
00:34And they know me in and out, we've been through so much together, filmed three movies now
00:40and done an animated series and so many like fun zombies things and so we've seen each
00:46other in our best and worst and so they knew exactly what to say to pick me up.
00:51And Milo was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars before placing second, did he give
00:55you any tips to kind of make it to the end?
00:57Yeah, I love Milo, I think he should have won the whole thing.
01:02He's a very talented kiddo.
01:07He knows my struggle with perfectionism and I think we have very parallel journeys in
01:13that way and so he just reminded me that perfect is not the goal, nor should it be, but really
01:20it's about the growth and the journey and I know people say that, but I'm really learning
01:25it, I think you internalize it in a different way once you experience it and I feel like
01:29I'm really getting to the point in the competition where I'm feeling it and so that's a little
01:35gem that I'm going to take into these next couple of weeks.
01:38And this week you also had a group dance, so how did that kind of change rehearsals,
01:43I mean your thought process, you had to rely on not only each other but other people, so
01:47can you tell me what that was like?
01:49Yeah, it was so much fun, I'll say that first.
01:51I think I've gotten so used to just this guy that it was a bit jarring at times because
01:57you just have so many cooks in the kitchen, but I also mean that in a really good way
02:01because everybody's a pro for a reason, we had such incredible energy and everybody had
02:07great creative ideas and visions for what we could do and so I think we picked the best
02:13of everything and created something that we're all really proud of and we had a whole lot
02:17of fun, which I think is the most important part.
02:20And it is Disney night, so I have to ask, what was your favorite, or who was, sorry,
02:25was your favorite Disney character growing up?
02:28This is for both of you.
02:29I said this earlier, Mushu, he was my guy, he was my guy.
02:35He was funny though, he's like the comedic relief in that movie and you're like the comedic
02:39relief in real life.
02:40Just in life, yeah.
02:41You're just like throwing out the zingers all the time.
02:42Yeah, I feel like I walk around as Mushu, you know?
02:45You float around.
02:46Float around, slither around.
02:50I would say, yeah, I was saying this earlier, I love Tiana.
02:55Genuinely, I was not the kid to have any posters up on my wall and it's funny, I look back
03:01at it and I did have one and it was the first look that Disney dropped of Tiana, it's out
03:07on her balcony and she's looking out into the distance and I hung it right above my
03:11bed and I woke up and looked at it every morning and just wanted to be her and I think it was
03:18just the first time I really saw myself as a princess in that space and just deeply resonated
03:23with her and so that would be my answer.
03:26I mean, you bringing up Tiana, I could see you playing Princess Tiana in a live action,
03:32how would that be?
03:33Oh, thank you so much.
03:34Oh, you were talking to her?
03:35I'm really excited to see you.
03:36Yeah, that would be magical.
03:40I mean, I should go to someone who is like, incredible and I don't know if I could live
03:47up to that.
03:48I don't know if I could live up to that, but you know, if they want to, I will audition.
03:54So send me the signs, send me the script.
03:57She would love a reading.
