00:00As a pet lover, I would like to ask the Prime Minister to give special orders to the veterinary department throughout Malaysia to take care of the welfare of abandoned animals, such as dogs and cats.
00:28Recently, there has been a shift in social media, especially the TikTok application, a very heartbreaking and embarrassing incident involving an abandoned dog named Kopi, who was shot dead by the hands of a mass gathering in the middle of the country.
00:46But the good thing is that I see the Malaysian community, which consists of millions of people, regardless of whether they are Malay, Indian, or Chinese, all layers of society, together opposing this cruel act.
01:01This incident has aroused the anger of netizens and the public, where we see that all layers of society, from various groups, oppose and protest as hard as possible the actions of the mass gathering in the middle of the country, which is cruel and inhumane.
01:18Even though the Prime Minister has given special orders to take care of the welfare of abandoned animals, after the incident involving Kopi, I hope the government will show a commitment to take care of abandoned animals, such as dogs and cats,
01:43because a country will be judged in the world by the way we judge abandoned animals.
