Tutor and activist M. Indira Gandhi said she planned to lodge reports with the police and Veterinary Services Department after a viral CCTV video showed a man allegedly abandoning a dog near her house in Taman Rishah, Ipoh on Feb 19.

00:11The 50-year-old said she discovered the incident after her neighbor alerted her around 5.30
00:16p.m. on Wednesday.
00:18She posted CCTV footage on social media showing a man along with a boy while leading a leashed
00:24dog.
00:25The video then showed the man allegedly removing the leash and abandoning the dog by the roadside
00:31in Taman Risha.
00:33The man was also seen allegedly hitting the dog.
00:36Indira said the dog was malnourished and looked skinny, and she hoped that someone would adopt
00:41it.
00:42She said she planned to lodge reports with the police and veterinary services department.
