00:00The Senate did not stop listening to the accusations made by KOJC founder, Apollo Quibuloy.

00:11And for the first time, after a few hearings, the religious leader faced a high sentence.

00:19The update is from the center of the news, Daniel Manalastas.

00:24Aljo, Senator Arisa Hontiveros just asked Pastor Apollo Quibuloy.

00:34Hontiveros asked if it is true that Quibuloy sexually abused women.

00:41And Quibuloy's answer is that the allegations are not true.

00:45And he will answer the allegations in court.

00:48He also challenged the victims to file a case against him.

00:55And Aljo, another accuser of Quibuloy.

00:58This is what they call neglecting children.

01:03Quibuloy also said that there is a police officer who is being harassed by KOJC.

01:11Quibuloy faced the allegations of his victims in the Senate.

01:16And for the first time, he also faced the KOJC.

01:23Quibuloy's first confrontation was with Teresita Valdueza.

01:28And not all the good people he approached were from Quibuloy.

01:46This is the fulfillment of God's revelation.

01:49I was physically very weak and so depressed.

01:54I prayed that God would just take my life.

01:57I started to question God.

02:05I wondered if this was truly a divine process or simply human punishment.

02:11I asked myself, is this a secret way of retaliating?

02:15Because I rejected the life he imposed on me?

02:20Aljo, Valdueza, is a former member of the Quibuloy Church.

02:25And he became the National Crusade Coordinator, National Logistics Coordinator,

02:29and Luzon Area Activist Director.

02:32Valdueza was also accused of trafficking youth.

02:41I also have a quota of 10 to 15 million pesos to raise in the month of December alone.

02:48I organized the carolers nationwide to meet my quota.

02:54We recruited and trafficked our young people from Mindanao and Visayas

02:58to carol in the provinces of Luzon and in the National Capital Region Cities.

03:04In Aljo's opening statement, Senator Rizo condemned Quibuloy

03:08because he did not support the actions he forced the Senate to avoid

03:14and what conditions he imposed.

03:19Quibuloy said that trafficking is a way of worshiping the Father

03:26and sacrificing oneself for the greater good.

03:31We rejected this condemnation because of the story of young prostitutes

03:37who were forced to be left on the streets and not being educated

03:43to be able to buy a helicopter, an expensive car, a big house,

03:49in different countries, the self-proclaimed Son of God.

03:55Aljo, in the face of Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Pinalo,

03:58it is not surprising that they have not yet received a formal extradition request from the United States

04:04and in order for them to receive a formal request, the DFA must study this.
