00:00Now, we know that playing and coaching in Boston, in any sport, there's a lot of pressure,
00:09right?
00:10I mean, that's a tough city to play and coach in.
00:12This guy, Missoula, though, he's like a different kind of cat.
00:16With the way, I guess, he thinks, the way he feels.
00:19They asked him about the pressure of defending and keeping it going, and he just really wasn't
00:24having any of that, Scotty.
00:26What kind of pressure do you have, do you feel, to kind of maximize this opportunity
00:30that you have with this group?
00:32Zero.
00:33No pressure.
00:34We're all going to be dead soon, and it really doesn't matter anymore, so there's zero pressure.
00:38You're either going to win or you're not.
00:40And when you win, you try to forget about it a week later, and when you lose, you try
00:43to forget about it a week later.
00:44And so, it's not pressure, it's an opportunity.
00:47And we have an opportunity here over the next few years, however long we're together.
00:51We've said this in the past.
00:52We have an opportunity to carry the organization forward, to double down on the tradition and
00:56the history of what this organization has.
00:58And what else would you expect in someone expecting you to win all the time?
01:02I wouldn't want someone expecting me to lose all the time.
01:04That would be debilitating.
01:06So we have an expectation to win.
01:08We have great character, great talent, and we just have to work to maximize that, and
01:12we're going to rely on the players to do that.
01:14Listen, all I know is he said, we're all going to be dead soon.
01:17That's all I heard.
01:19It's funny.
01:20He referenced that because there's another seven minutes of that.
01:24So he mentions, we're all going to be dead, win or lose, one way or the other.
01:28At the end, he looked at the reporters and he's just like, in my funeral in 40 years,
01:32none of you guys are invited.
01:34Like he said, I'm going to have a funeral in 40 years, none of you guys are invited to it.
01:37He's a different dude, Missoula.
01:40He's a different cat.
01:42Yeah, whatever.
01:43I think he's a tool.
01:44And he's got a ring, so it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of him in Boston.
01:48He already won it.
01:49He won a championship.
01:51When you win a championship in the NBA, you're set.
01:54That's it.
01:55It doesn't matter if you win one.
01:56It doesn't matter if you win as many as Riley, as many as LeBron, as many as Jordan.
02:01It doesn't matter.
02:02I mean, did the big fella get it, the Joker?
02:06Did he get a ring?
02:07Yes.
02:08Did he get the MVP?
02:09Yes.
02:10Did he get the finals MVP?
02:11Yes.
02:13What else is there?
02:14No wonder he likes his horses more.
02:16Once you win one, they don't even care.
02:18I told you, this league is built around money.
02:22All they care about is the money they make.
02:25They make so much G-damn money, it's not even funny.
02:28None of them care about winning or losing at all.
02:31All they want is that money.
02:33I mean, if you make it to the NBA, you are going to be rich.
02:39That's it.
02:40You're going to be set for life.
02:42I don't care who you are.
02:44The 12th man on the team is making millions.
02:47I mean, that's it.
02:48And the best players make hundreds of millions of dollars.
02:52Every contract.
02:54Every one.
02:55And then they stack three or four of them, and by the time they're done,
02:57they've made a billion dollars.
02:59Set for life.
03:00They don't care about winning, losing, playing.
03:04Do you think that MB gives a rat's ass about playing Wednesday against the
03:08Bucs that he's not playing, or George?
03:10Paul George has missed so many games in his career, it's like blowing a fart.
03:15He could care less.
03:16How about Kawhi Leonard?
03:17You talk about a guy that doesn't care about playing.
03:20That guy hasn't cared about playing since he was at San Diego State.
03:24Honestly.
03:25He only cares about payday.
03:26He knows when payday is.
