बेंगलूरु के यलहंका इलाके में बारिश के कारण बाढ़ जैसे हालात बन गए हैं। केंद्रीय विहार अपार्टमेंट में पानी भर जाने से कई परिवार फंस गए। एनडीआरएफ की रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में लगी है। कई लोगों ने स्थिति सामान्य होने तक घर छोड़ दिया है। कुछ पहले भी यहां लगभग 3 फीट पानी जमा हो गया था। केंद्रीय विहार अपार्टमेंट के अधिकांश निवासी सेवानिवृत्त केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारी है। यलहंका झील के बिल्कुल नजदीक स्थित होने के कारण यहां के निवासियों को अक्सर बाढ़ का सामना करना पड़ता है।
