00:15General Santos City is known as the real capital of the Philippines.

00:19And Marlon is just one of the thousands of vendors

00:22that has been a part of the real industry in the province for decades.

00:25This is also what I'm trying to get.

00:28This is also what I'm trying to get every day from my family.

00:32Sometimes, they sell more than P10,000.

00:39Along with the real industry,

00:42Jansan Economic Manager, Leonard Flores,

00:45has also confirmed the richness of other industries in their town,

00:48such as more infrastructure for event hostings

00:52and investments in healthcare.

00:54And they plan to make their town the next metropolitan capital.

00:58As we grew, we also know our role in the South Surgeon region as the gateway.

01:05We are top five in terms of passengers at busy airport.

01:10What does it mean?

01:12So, we are really making justification.

01:15We justify our being a gateway of Southern Philippines.

01:19They estimated that 1.9 billion pesos per day in 2023

01:23will be spent by tourists in their town.

01:27While 1.7 million tourists are expected to visit this year.
