00:00:002024, China. The Beast is back.
00:00:19Are you ready to meet your riders?
00:00:21It all comes down to this moment.
00:00:23Real question right now.
00:00:25Who is on top?
00:00:30What's up, Feast family, and welcome back to the Feast World Series.
00:00:35We're still here in China, in the metropolitan city of Shanghai.
00:00:40We just finished up the World Cup Men here on the Freestyle Park,
00:00:45but now we're getting ready for the finals in the women's category.
00:00:50My name is MC Agon, and I'm being joined here by the missionary of BMX Freestyle, Dustin Orem.
00:00:57It's a blessing to be here. Thank you.
00:00:59Very stoked to watch this women's finals unfold, as it is going to be crazy.
00:01:05I mean, just an hour ago, we just saw Rim take the win here in Shanghai.
00:01:11Runner-up was Anthony Zhangjian, and then the bronze medal went to Nick Bruce.
00:01:19And then that was very similar to the overall,
00:01:22where Anthony Zhangjian took the overall of this three-stop series here in 2024,
00:01:26followed by Rim and then Nick Bruce for that overall in third place.
00:01:32So, crazy podium as they were battling for the overall,
00:01:36battling for it here in Shanghai to wrap it up.
00:01:39And the women, it is going to be very interesting for their overall as well.
00:01:44Let's look at where all the action is going to unfold here on this hurricane park setup
00:01:50designed by the one and only Pascal Moraes.
00:01:53Now, this park was also used for the roller skating,
00:01:56so you will see some obstacles that will not be on the course,
00:02:00because those were the inline skating, the freestyle obstacles,
00:02:04such as the big latch on the long and low jump box, for example,
00:02:09or the A-frame latch at the wall ride.
00:02:12Let's see, we have the, let's say, the elevated section of this course.
00:02:18And right in the middle, there's this big combination of the long and low jump box
00:02:23and then the really huge, let's say, more pyramid-esque jump box for the riders to hit.
00:02:31Yeah, huge shout out to Hurricane Parks and putting that together.
00:02:34And they have a lot of new aspects to this new Olympic cycle,
00:02:38where they took feedback from the riders to be able to provide the best courses,
00:02:42where they have different varieties of coping that they can put on the ramps,
00:02:46new transitions to allow for different layouts and new lines for the riders,
00:02:51as well as stiffening them up so they can boost even higher as the ramps will run faster.
00:02:56Now, the format for this final will be 12 riders divided in two heats of six.
00:03:01They will both get two runs of 60 seconds per rider, and it's the best run that counts.
00:03:06Now, the women had the luck that it was not raining during their qualifications or semifinals,
00:03:13so they're actually having a proper final, which is the 12 of them.
00:03:20Yeah, and we had some awesome competition in those.
00:03:23I want to give a shout out to Corey Coffey.
00:03:25She said this is going to be her final rides at these World Cups as she's going to be retiring.
00:03:31But right now, we're going to the judging criteria,
00:03:34where it's going to be the overall impression of the riders
00:03:37that's going to be judged on the difficulty of tricks, the height, their flow, originality,
00:03:41the style that each rider brings to the course, their progression and variety in their tricks,
00:03:46mixed with the risk factor, how clean they are on their landings and their overall use of the course.
00:03:53And we have some of the best judges in the game as they're going to each put in their score from 0 to 100,
00:03:59and then the average of that is going to give us what is going to make the podium.
00:04:04So what you see here is the judging tower, and let's see who is in there.
00:04:08We have David Hank Cleaworth, who is the head judge for this event.
00:04:12We have John Van Homen, Luka Kovic from Slovenia, Dave Dilward from Australia,
00:04:18Markus Wilke, the mastermind behind Freedom BMX Magazine in Germany,
00:04:23and the Croatian Igor Poki Vukadinovic.
00:04:29And also the Raw Motion guys who are supplying all the data,
00:04:34all the technology that the judges and we also use to show you the results.
00:04:40Now let's see what happened in the qualification.
00:04:51Yeah, starting off these highlights, again, it was Corey Coffey as she is going to retire,
00:04:56and it's been awesome, her impact on women's riding.
00:04:59She was the first female competitor to be doing a backflip,
00:05:02so very excited to see how she's going to continue to influence and impact women's BMX.
00:05:10But only the 12 best riders have made it into the finals.
00:05:19China, one of the greatest cities in the world.
00:05:22We are about to get into the female women's finals.
00:05:26Let's meet our riders!
00:05:33Representing the Netherlands, 15 years old, Indie Kramer!
00:05:41Indie Kramer from Holland, the protege of Daniel Wedemeyer.
00:05:47Representing Team Japan, Minato Oike!
00:05:54The number 9 of Inoshima, number 4 in Montpellier.
00:05:58Riding for Team Japan, Neinei Naito!
00:06:09Representing Team Colombia, Lisa Levelejah Serna!
00:06:21Riding for Team China, Sun Jiaqi!
00:06:29Representing Colombia, Queen Sarayvileja Serna!
00:06:38So that's actually two sisters on a course today, both Queen and Lisa Levelejah Serna.
00:06:43Representing Team Chile, Macarena Perez!
00:06:50Also another Olympic diploma in this final.
00:06:54Riding for Team Germany, Kim Lea Mueller!
00:07:04Representing Team Germany, Lara Lessmann!
00:07:10Team Germany in the house, coached by the one and only,
00:07:15Team Germany in the house, coached by the one and only,
00:07:19old school, let's say mid school legend, Tobias Wicke.
00:07:2114 years old, riding for Team Japan, Miharo Ozawa!
00:07:33Riding for Team GB, 18 years old, Sasha Pardo!
00:07:42Actually the current European champion.
00:07:44And your number one qualifier, riding for Team China, Sun Zibei!
00:07:54The vice world champion of Glasgow.
00:07:56These are your finalists Shanghai, let them hear you!
00:08:02The crowd is stoked.
00:08:12So welcome back to the FISE World Series.
00:08:14We're here at the final stop, the third stop of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup.
00:08:20We're getting ready to see what the women have in store for us.
00:08:24It's only the 12 best that made it into this finals and it's going to be quite one.
00:08:29We have three Olympic diplomas, we have a vice world champion, we have a European champion.
00:08:35So a lot is going to unfold here on the West Bund in Shanghai.
00:08:42Yeah, a solid group of riders that have already put down crazy runs to get them into this finals.
00:08:50And they're going to continue to unleash as they just had a solid warm-up session and ready to go.
00:08:56Right here we're getting a look at the weather.
00:08:58Again, weather has been affecting different things, but the entire team has been working hard to keep things going.
00:09:03We've been blessed with a window of clear skies that's going to keep things going.
00:09:07There's a little bit of wind, but overall it is working out for each of these riders
00:09:12to be able to continue to shred it up on this insane Hurricanes Park course.
00:09:25Our first heat of six riders.
00:09:29We also have the leaderboard.
00:09:30So right now, Laurie Perez in first, Oike in second, Nene Naito in third.
00:09:35But Laurie Perez is not here today, so that means Oike and Naito will have to see who takes the win
00:09:43or takes the most points to win the leaderboard of this year's World Cup.
00:09:51Yeah, it's close, only 200 points separating them.
00:09:54So if one outs the other in the scores today, it could switch up that leaderboard very easily for the overall series
00:10:03as we are here in our third and final stop of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup powered by Fies.
00:10:14And at this one, we get the treat.
00:10:15You see some of the other shots.
00:10:17This is the full action sports festival as we got all kinds of different events happening right here at the West Dunes Ground
00:10:26as we got the skateboarding, the scootering, inline, braking.
00:10:31But right now, let's get to this freestyle BMX as Indy looks to start us off.
00:10:39Indy Kramer from Holland.
00:10:45And she's being coached by Daniel Wedemeyer, the national head coach of Holland.
00:10:52Now, he has the Fies experience.
00:10:54He knows what winning is.
00:10:57And I actually asked him last night, what's in store for us for the finals?
00:11:02Are you going to up your run from qualifications?
00:11:05And Daniel said, we'll have to wait and see.
00:11:07So I'm expecting big stuff from Indy Kramer, the number six from Fies Montpellier.
00:11:16And there's a look at Daniel right there talking with Bart.
00:11:18Daniel is doing an incredible job in coaching the different riders that he has on his team.
00:11:25And it's been a treat to watch him walking in that role.
00:11:28And he still shreds as well.
00:11:30We got some good riding in at SMP earlier this week.
00:11:35And it's cool to see how he works with each rider, meeting them where they're at
00:11:39and giving them the insight they need to help them push it to the next level with their riding.
00:11:55We have to wait for the thumbs up.
00:12:03And she's getting the introduction from Catfish and Kane, our two MCs here on the track in Shanghai.
00:12:09Dropping in, ready for the big transfer, starting with the X-up into the deep end of the park.
00:12:14Big no-hander on that box.
00:12:16And that is a huge box to jump.
00:12:20Transferring with the X-up, ready to hit the big G-shock step-up.
00:12:25No-hander.
00:12:28Over, back into the deep end of the park.
00:12:32360 the box.
00:12:34Yeah, let's go Indy.
00:12:36Cruising around, coming back into the elevated portion.
00:12:39Where's she going to go?
00:12:40Big transferring hip right there into the slant wall.
00:12:43Indy finding her flow, big X-up.
00:12:45Comes back towards the wall ride.
00:12:49Giving us a toboggan from the quarter to that bank.
00:12:53Coming at that G-shock, X-up up the G-shock step-up.
00:12:56Indy coming into her final 10 seconds, manualing over the Hurricane Volcano.
00:13:01Tabletop on that elevated quarter.
00:13:04Five seconds left, she's going to put her final thoughts on it.
00:13:06180 disaster, and that's going to be a full pull for Indy.
00:13:11Way to get this female competition started.
00:13:15Already a very clean run by Indy Kremich.
00:13:19She has a family watching back home.
00:13:21It must be 8 in the morning right now.
00:13:25So I assume her mom is watching back home.
00:13:33Got to be stoked to get your first run under the belt.
00:13:35Let's go watch some of these replays.
00:13:38Getting the extension on the tuck no-hander up that G-shock step-up.
00:13:42Coming at the big box jump.
00:13:44360.
00:13:46Getting the rotation right at the top of it.
00:13:49A little case, but still keeping her speed and momentum after that.
00:13:53And there's that big transfer from the G-shock quarter into that slant wall.
00:13:59Into that wall.
00:14:01And this is going to be the reference score that the judges will be using.
00:14:04It's a 55.60 for Indy Kremich.
00:14:10So up next from the Montpellier No. 6,
00:14:14we're going to Japan to the Montpellier No. 4,
00:14:17and that is Oike Minato.
00:14:29Music's playing.
00:14:32Currently the second spot of the competition.
00:14:37Currently the second spot on the leaderboard.
00:14:42Possibly a new leader.
00:14:46And here we go. Minato dropping in.
00:14:50Step-down hip into the box jump.
00:14:52Big backflip to start it off.
00:14:55Yes, Minato, wall ride, quarter to bank.
00:14:58Hip in the long and low box.
00:15:00Tabletop over the G-shock hip.
00:15:04Hook back into the slant wall from the quarter.
00:15:08Hipping back in, coming at the box jump.
00:15:10Tuck no-hander, getting full extension.
00:15:13Holding that little combo right there.
00:15:15Minato halfway through her run.
00:15:20Bar spinning into that G-shock step-back quarter.
00:15:23A little E-T quarter to bank right there.
00:15:26Minato rips across the course.
00:15:28T-bog up the G-shock step-up.
00:15:31Clean air on the TSG.
00:15:3390-degree hip coming back at the box jump.
00:15:35Cranking the turn down.
00:15:37Let's go as she moves into her final 10 seconds.
00:15:40Yes, Minato, wall ride to X-up.
00:15:43Come back across the course.
00:15:45And wrapping it up with another X-up.
00:15:47Getting that extension on it.
00:15:49A little tabletop for bonus.
00:15:53Very solid first run by the Japanese, Oike Minato.
00:16:02Yeah, solid flow all around the course.
00:16:04Looking to utilize all the different features.
00:16:06Let's check out some of these replays.
00:16:08And this is how she started off that first run.
00:16:10The backflip, just a small case with the back wheel on top of the ramp.
00:16:15But she kept it going.
00:16:18A good stretch on that no-hander full extension.
00:16:21That is what the judges will be looking for.
00:16:25Nice tabletop over the hip.
00:16:30Trying to put the bike as flat as possible.
00:16:34That is how you want to perform a tabletop.
00:16:3665.60 for the girl from Okayama.
00:16:44And we'll continue with a compatriot of hers.
00:16:48With Nene Naito.
00:16:54Currently in the third spot in the World Cup leaderboard.
00:16:59Starting off with the 360 turndown.
00:17:03Really loved how she turned the 360.
00:17:05And then in the second half of it, twisting into the turndown.
00:17:08Barspin transferring into the G-shock quarter pipe.
00:17:13Picking up the speed for the G-shock step up.
00:17:16Full speed ahead.
00:17:18That's a tire grab to X-up.
00:17:20Twisting the bars after tapping the front wheel.
00:17:24And she's halfway through her run.
00:17:26Getting that huge tuck no-hander over the box.
00:17:29Clicking the X-up.
00:17:31Coming back around the course.
00:17:32Choosing her line carefully.
00:17:34Locking in the X-up.
00:17:35Stepping back into that G-shock quarter pipe.
00:17:38Going bank to quarter.
00:17:39Finding her line as she goes over the hip of the long and low box.
00:17:43Hurricane hip.
00:17:44Tabletop right there.
00:17:45Final 10 seconds.
00:17:47Putting her thoughts on the end of her run.
00:17:49Coming at the box jump.
00:17:50Come on, Nene.
00:17:53Getting over the box jump.
00:17:54And that is going to do it for her first run.
00:17:58Both wheels were down before the buzzer hit.
00:18:01And that is what you want.
00:18:02Both wheels have to be on the ground or the ramp
00:18:06You want your trick to come towards that total score.
00:18:13Let's watch some of these replays.
00:18:14Starting her run off with that 360 turndown.
00:18:18That was such a great way to kick it off.
00:18:22Right here, bar spin.
00:18:25Twisting the bars 360 degrees as she stepped back into that G-shock quarter.
00:18:30Big tuck no-hander over the box.
00:18:39Looked like she had a little bit more that she wanted to do at the end of the run.
00:18:42And so she's going to have some room to continue to build on whatever score she has.
00:18:46But she kept it clean.
00:18:47Kept herself going all the way through the run to get herself the first one.
00:18:52And here we go.
00:18:53Here we go.
00:18:54Score coming in 62 even.
00:18:55Putting her into second place.
00:19:01So we will try to keep you updated on the current standings of that leaderboard.
00:19:06Because it will be a battle between Minato Oike and Nene Naito.
00:19:12But first we have nine more riders to compete here.
00:19:19We'll be looking forward to the next run of the Colombian Liz Cerny-Videgas-Cerna.
00:19:29Here we go, Liz.
00:19:30Coming in, transferring off that hurricane into that step-down hip.
00:19:34Huge 360.
00:19:38Wall ride on the bank.
00:19:41Cutting back across the course.
00:19:43Transferring all the way over that hip.
00:19:45Look at the speed.
00:19:46Whoa, 450 over that hurricane hip.
00:19:51Yes.
00:19:52Foot plant on the curve wall ride.
00:19:55Coming back full speed ahead.
00:19:56360 up the G-shock step-up.
00:19:58270 on the TSG hip.
00:20:01Manualing across the volcano.
00:20:04Tail whip on the elevated corner.
00:20:06Yes, Liz.
00:20:08Keep it going.
00:20:09Tail tap right there.
00:20:11Looking for an X-up as she keeps her run going.
00:20:14No!
00:20:17Liz barely clipping on that step-down hip.
00:20:21Throwing her off the bike.
00:20:23Glad to see she's all right, but you can see that disappointment.
00:20:26She had an awesome run going right there.
00:20:29Wanted to see what she had in store for the final thoughts.
00:20:34But we're going to have to wait for run number two.
00:20:37Let's watch some of these awesome highlights.
00:20:40Look at the height on that 360.
00:20:43Starting her run off with that.
00:20:45I love this.
00:20:46Transferring all the way across into that UCI bank wall with the tire grab.
00:20:52Right here, this is one of my favorite tricks of her run, that 450.
00:21:01Right there, 360 up that G-shock step-up.
00:21:07Clean tail whip on the elevated corner.
00:21:09And right here, just barely hanging that back wheel up.
00:21:14Getting her off balance and sliding out.
00:21:18But again, very glad that she is all good and she'll come back for run number two.
00:21:24Absolutely.
00:21:25Regain her composure.
00:21:26Be able to handle business.
00:21:28I mean, she knows what winning a World Cup is.
00:21:30She won in 2022 in Montpellier.
00:21:35Up next, we're going to a local.
00:21:38One of the Chinese, Sun Jiaqi.
00:21:45One of the riders with an Olympic diploma.
00:21:48She finished in seventh.
00:21:50And she's going to bring the heat to the park.
00:21:52360, stretched out can-can.
00:21:55Beautiful wall ride to X-up.
00:21:57She's combining all the tricks on all the obstacles.
00:22:00Tail whip over the step-up.
00:22:02She keeps it going.
00:22:04What a start by Sun Jiaqi.
00:22:09Transferring, conserving all that speed from the elevated section down to the park.
00:22:14Wall ride across the channel gap.
00:22:18Tabletop, she's halfway through her minute run.
00:22:22What's she going to do?
00:22:23Transferring up into that slant wall.
00:22:25Getting her speed for the box jump.
00:22:27Massive tail whip.
00:22:30Wall ride on the bank.
00:22:32Keeping it going.
00:22:3315 seconds left.
00:22:35Toboggan up the step-up.
00:22:37Flying over that 90-degree hip.
00:22:40Manual on that top and transferring down.
00:22:43Monsoon.
00:22:45Final thoughts.
00:22:47Slipping the foot off.
00:22:48It didn't look like it touched the ground.
00:22:51And that is going to do it for her first run.
00:22:55You can truly see that she's being coached by Daniel Dares.
00:22:58There's a Daniel Dares touch to her way of riding.
00:23:07In 2022, she won the World Cup in Gold Coast, Australia.
00:23:13Just ahead of Hannah Roberts.
00:23:18Tail whipping up that step-up.
00:23:20And we came in right at the end.
00:23:21She started her run off with that huge 360 can-can.
00:23:24Getting the full extension on it.
00:23:27Right here, taking the tail whip to the entire box jump.
00:23:31Casing the top of it.
00:23:32But again, keeping her run going.
00:23:35Got that toboggan where you grab the seat and turn the bars at least 90 degrees.
00:23:46Having some fun with the cameraman.
00:23:49Keeping him on his toes as she awaits her first run score.
00:23:56Going to have to see what they do.
00:23:57Had a little slip up at the end.
00:23:59But again, it looked like she kept the foot off the ground.
00:24:01And her score coming in a 78 even.
00:24:04Bumping her up into first place for the moment.
00:24:13And now we're up to the next rider.
00:24:16The final rider for the first run in his first heat.
00:24:20Back to Colombia.
00:24:21It's Queen Sarai Virgacerna.
00:24:25The Olympic number four from Paris just a couple of months ago.
00:24:34And here she goes.
00:24:35Big backflip barspin.
00:24:37There must be something in the water in Colombia.
00:24:39What a start for Queen Sarai.
00:24:44Euro table right there.
00:24:46Powerful riding.
00:24:48She goes into the traditional tabletop.
00:24:50And then 360 onto the top of the long and low box.
00:24:54Ripping around that corner.
00:24:56She comes at the step up big 360.
00:25:03Manualing in the elevated portion.
00:25:05Tail whip on that elevated quarter.
00:25:07Let's go, Queen.
00:25:08Keep that momentum going as she's got 20 seconds left.
00:25:12We're going to come back into the box jump.
00:25:16Look at the speed.
00:25:17X up after the barspin.
00:25:19Yes, Queen.
00:25:21Final 10 seconds.
00:25:23What does she have for us on the G-Shock quarter?
00:25:25X up to X up.
00:25:28Three, two, one.
00:25:30That's going to be time for a card off.
00:25:32That is a full pull for Queen right there.
00:25:35She has got to be stoked on that run.
00:25:38Giving the heart to the crowd.
00:25:41What a ride by the 2021 Pan American Games winner.
00:25:45And here we have Juan Caicedo cheering her on with the Colombian flag.
00:25:52Like whenever we're at BMX events,
00:25:55all these South Americans stick together cheering on.
00:25:58Came out swinging with that backflip.
00:26:01Barspin landing right at the top of that box jump.
00:26:06That's exactly what you want to see to get your run going.
00:26:12Right here, barspin to X up.
00:26:14Getting that clicked in as well.
00:26:17Getting the extension on her tricks.
00:26:19There's that tailwhip on that elevated quarter.
00:26:23And the stoke after the run.
00:26:27Yes, Queen.
00:26:33And score coming in, 75.84.
00:26:37Putting her into second place.
00:26:42Getting some love from her sister.
00:26:45We're going to go back to the top of the run order.
00:26:48Back to Indy Kramer.
00:26:51From Nederland.
00:26:54The Netherlands.
00:26:59The protege of Daniel Weerdemeyer.
00:27:04Dutch national champion.
00:27:06X up transfer down to the big jump box.
00:27:09No hander to X up.
00:27:11Yes, she's going for the trick combinations.
00:27:13She wants to up that score.
00:27:16Right now, she has that 55.90.
00:27:20But the way that it's looking right now, no hander.
00:27:22She is going to improve that score, in my opinion.
00:27:25Back into the skate park.
00:27:27Back to hit the big jump box, 360.
00:27:30Clearing it.
00:27:32Keeping that speed for the G shock step up.
00:27:35Oh no, we're going for the transfer.
00:27:37Yes.
00:27:38Come on, Indy.
00:27:39Keep it going.
00:27:42As her coach would say, gas erop.
00:27:45Full gas.
00:27:47Full throttle.
00:27:49Let's go, Indy.
00:27:50X up, up the step up.
00:27:52Final 10 seconds.
00:27:55Coming at the big jump box.
00:27:57Toboggan over that.
00:27:59Five seconds left.
00:28:01Indy flying around the corner.
00:28:03Is she going to be able to get something in before the buzzer?
00:28:08Wow, Indy.
00:28:09Solid run.
00:28:10She definitely upped the ante.
00:28:12And run number two.
00:28:16Putting it all together.
00:28:17Love the step back into that tiny little corner
00:28:20on the edge of the course.
00:28:24Unique use of that feature.
00:28:27Cool to see her flowing all over the park.
00:28:31Let's watch some of these replays.
00:28:33Tuck no hander.
00:28:34Into the X up.
00:28:36Putting that combo together.
00:28:38Going straight into a can-can air right here.
00:28:41Over the G shock step up.
00:28:43Getting the extension on the tuck no hander.
00:28:49Showing the flow and the style.
00:28:51She sneezes it out over that hip right there.
00:28:54The toboggan over the jump box.
00:28:56Twisting the bars.
00:28:57Holding onto the seat.
00:29:0057 points.
00:29:01It's going to be the final result of Indy Kramer.
00:29:04Which is an improvement on her first run.
00:29:07So she's got to be stoked on that.
00:29:10She's got a bright future.
00:29:12But right now we're going to go to Japan's Minato Oike.
00:29:16And she has high hopes for this.
00:29:19She's got a bright future.
00:29:21And she's got a bright future.
00:29:23But right now we're going to go to Japan's Minato Oike.
00:29:27And she is hyped.
00:29:29Ready to go for run number two.
00:29:32See what combo she's able to put together.
00:29:37Here we go.
00:29:39A little tabletop.
00:29:41Stepping down into the big box jump.
00:29:43Tipping the back flip back.
00:29:45Almost looped out but able to keep it under control.
00:29:48Dabbing the foot.
00:29:49But keeping things going.
00:29:51Tabletop over the hurricane hip.
00:29:55Look back.
00:29:56Stepping back into the UCI quarter.
00:29:59Coming at the box jump.
00:30:01Minato huge tuck no hander.
00:30:04Tabletop.
00:30:05She's into the second half of her second run.
00:30:09Oh!
00:30:13Looked like she might have wanted a tail whip.
00:30:15Bike got away from her a little bit.
00:30:19But getting out of that clean.
00:30:22Back on her bike.
00:30:23Rolling out of it.
00:30:29The start of that run was the big back flip.
00:30:32But what happened is she landed back wheel heavy.
00:30:37Knocking her out of balance a bit.
00:30:39But she regained balance.
00:30:41Kept it going.
00:30:43Big no hander.
00:30:46For the current number two in the World Cup leaderboard.
00:30:50Yeah, I'm not sure what happened here.
00:30:53It looked like she wanted a tail whip and went to kick it.
00:30:56And then something must not have felt right.
00:30:58And so she stopped the kick.
00:30:59But the rotation had already started.
00:31:01And how she had her momentum going.
00:31:05And it took her out.
00:31:06But again, thankfully she was able to just slide out of it.
00:31:10And get back to her feet.
00:31:14But this might be the moment for Minato to sweep in.
00:31:20Because she's only 200 UCI points behind Oike Minato in the UCI leaderboard.
00:31:27Transferring into the park.
00:31:29Hitting the Yuzu Box 360.
00:31:32Keeping all that speed.
00:31:33Look back.
00:31:37Transferring into the G-Shock ramp.
00:31:38With that flare.
00:31:44You don't see that too often in these competitions.
00:31:48She keeps it going.
00:31:50Yeah, these women are putting it all on the line.
00:31:55It's cool to see her continue to go with her run.
00:31:57Even though that flare did not go as she had planned.
00:32:06Because the big tricks.
00:32:07If you want to bring those out early on in the run.
00:32:09There is the risk.
00:32:11The possibility that you crash that run.
00:32:14You fail that trick.
00:32:16And messes up your run.
00:32:18But if you keep it for the end of your run.
00:32:21You might be out of energy.
00:32:23And also not complete or finish the trick in the way that you want it to.
00:32:31She looks a bit bummed out.
00:32:36So that's how she started the run.
00:32:38The nice 360.
00:32:39Nice and high.
00:32:40Landing it perfectly.
00:32:42Look back.
00:32:43Twisting herself around the head tube of the frame.
00:32:46And that's a flare.
00:32:48Yeah.
00:32:49Unfortunately under rotated it.
00:32:56Going to stay with that first run score of a 62 even.
00:32:59Keeping her in 4th place currently.
00:33:06So now we're going to go over to Columbia's Liz Serena.
00:33:13For Columbia.
00:33:15Liz Serena.
00:33:18Let's go Liz.
00:33:19Let's get it.
00:33:23Starting at that elevated portion.
00:33:25Coming into the jump box.
00:33:27Lots of speed.
00:33:28Huge 360.
00:33:30Landing so clean on that.
00:33:32Awesome wall ride on the UCI wall.
00:33:34Cutting back across the course.
00:33:36Tire grab.
00:33:40The 450.
00:33:41Oh.
00:33:48That is a massive hip to spin.
00:33:55Again, we have awesome medical staff out there.
00:33:58Scott training them up and keeping everybody on the same page to be able
00:34:02to give these athletes the best attention they can in these
00:34:08unfortunate circumstances.
00:34:11Coming off that rounded corner of that hip can make it so difficult to get
00:34:22yourself into the transition that you're looking for,
00:34:25especially when you're spinning a 450.
00:34:31And really pushing the level of women's riding.
00:34:37See her sister looking on.
00:34:41Her twin sister.
00:34:43Now Liz is just two minutes older actually.
00:34:58Coach Alejandro coming in to check in on her as well.
00:35:03They are incredible riders.
00:35:05And it's just so cool how they get to push each other.
00:35:09As sisters, very fun getting to have an opportunity to ride with them
00:35:14and see just their camaraderie and how they help each other out
00:35:19in so many different ways.
00:35:21So right now, again, the medical staff.
00:35:26Checking in on Liz to see how she's doing after that 450.
00:35:34Attempt again, hanging that back wheel up.
00:35:36She is a warrior.
00:35:39She's standing up again, being supported by Scott Blatt.
00:36:09Give her a round of applause from the crowd.
00:36:17And she goes back to them.
00:36:19What a warrior.
00:36:27And that she'll be all good.
00:36:29How will this affect Queen for her second run?
00:36:32Second run.
00:36:37Juan consoling her.
00:36:39Again, the Colombian team supporting one another.
00:36:48Here's a look at our judges.
00:36:52So from left to right, Marcus Wilke, Luka Kovic, David Hank Leeworth.
00:36:59Look at Kane and Catfish.
00:37:00They're doing a heart, giving a heart to everyone.
00:37:04They're working together on the microphones.
00:37:08Soon Jiaqi is getting ready.
00:37:19We see Daniel Dares in the coach jacket off China
00:37:26because he is actually coaching the national team of Chinese girls.
00:37:31Securing a gold medal at the last Olympics in Paris with Dong Yaowen.
00:37:49It's a thin platform for her to choose for her starting place.
00:37:54And that's where she started for her first run.
00:37:56Very unique location.
00:38:13She's asking for all the support from people here in Shanghai.
00:38:17Getting the crowd back into it.
00:38:21Giving the thumbs up.
00:38:25Wow.
00:38:27Olympic number seven.
00:38:29And she's in.
00:38:30What?
00:38:31360 tailwhip to start her run off.
00:38:35Wow.
00:38:36Coming out hot.
00:38:37Let's go.
00:38:38Big toboggan up that step up.
00:38:43Manuelin over the hurricane box right there.
00:38:45And going down the UCI transfer.
00:38:48Where's she going with this speed?
00:38:49Coming back across course.
00:38:51Coast to coast wall ride right there.
00:38:55Hurricane hip.
00:38:57Flowing back across the course.
00:39:01Getting her line.
00:39:02Look at the style.
00:39:04And then right here.
00:39:05What?
00:39:06Tailwhip to X up.
00:39:07Oh.
00:39:08The foot slipping off.
00:39:12Wow.
00:39:13But she's able to recover.
00:39:14Keeping herself going.
00:39:15Little tabletop.
00:39:18Got her final 10 seconds right here.
00:39:21How is she going to wrap this run up?
00:39:23Three.
00:39:24Two.
00:39:25Can-can.
00:39:27And that is going to be run number two.
00:39:30Little bonus wall ride to X up for the crowd.
00:39:37And a huge round of applause.
00:39:43What an honor it must be to ride here in your home country.
00:39:53What a way to start a ride with that 360 tailwhip.
00:40:04Look at this combo.
00:40:05She's going for the tailwhip.
00:40:07To X up.
00:40:09But in focusing on the X up.
00:40:11Had a little bobble.
00:40:13But she was able to get herself back on the bike and keep things going.
00:40:17Got the can-can hip right there.
00:40:19And the celebration at the end.
00:40:22Again, getting some love from the crowd and giving it right back.
00:40:25Oh, yeah.
00:40:26That's awesome.
00:40:29Yeah, the crowd has been amazing.
00:40:31So many awesome people here in Shanghai.
00:40:35Well, let's hope that people get inspired by these World Series too.
00:40:38Grab a bike.
00:40:39Grab a skateboard.
00:40:40Roller skates.
00:40:43Spread the message of urban sports.
00:40:47Yeah, the BMX scene is very strong here.
00:40:52I mean, we've seen the videos of the amateurs and the juniors as well.
00:40:55I mean, the talent that is brewing here.
00:40:58It's insane to see and witness.
00:41:04Okay.
00:41:05Next up, the Olympic number four.
00:41:11Come on, Queen.
00:41:14Hipping down into the lower portion of the course.
00:41:16Box jump.
00:41:17What?
00:41:18Backflip barspin to X up.
00:41:21Yes, Queen.
00:41:23Huge way to start your runoff.
00:41:25Eurotable over that extended hip portion.
00:41:29Tabletop on the slant wall.
00:41:31360 onto the top of the long and low box.
00:41:35Ripping around that corner as she charges at the step up.
00:41:39X up, up the G-shock step up.
00:41:41Tabletop.
00:41:43Lincoln tricks back to back to back.
00:41:46What's she got for us on the elevated corner?
00:41:47Huge tailwhip.
00:41:51Getting back into the ramp for the 2021 Pan-American champion.
00:41:56Last year, the bronze medal.
00:41:59Big backflip.
00:42:0010 more seconds for Queen.
00:42:02Villegas-Cerna.
00:42:05If she keeps this going at this level,
00:42:08maybe she'll get on to another podium.
00:42:11Here is Shangai.
00:42:13And that's gonna be time.
00:42:16Goes for the 60 seconds for Queen Villegas-Cerna.
00:42:22That was an epic start to her run.
00:42:24Very excited to see the replay of that.
00:42:28And all around, just clean run for Queen.
00:42:32From start to finish.
00:42:39Which is huge after watching her sister go down
00:42:42for her to get her composure back together
00:42:44and then be able to throw down something like this.
00:42:47Backflip barspin to X up.
00:42:51Unreal combo to start it out.
00:42:53Then that X up over the G-shock step up.
00:42:57This tailwhip on the elevated corner.
00:43:01Using all the different features.
00:43:04Coming through with a variety of tricks.
00:43:07Clean backflip.
00:43:11Keeping her focus as she spins through the air.
00:43:14Upside down for the Colombian.
00:43:22And that wraps up the first heat of riders.
00:43:25So we had six riders do their two runs,
00:43:28of which the best will count.
00:43:30But right now in the hot seat,
00:43:33it's soon Jachi followed by Queen Villegas-Cerna.
00:43:38And in third, it's Minato Oike.
00:43:41Oike.
00:43:50Yeah, that's a solid bump up from her first run score,
00:43:53giving her that 77.5.
00:43:57So we're going to clear the course
00:43:59and give our next six riders some warm-up time.
00:44:03And in the meanwhile, we'll check out some of the highlights
00:44:06from the first heat.
00:44:12Yeah.
00:44:13Yeah.
00:44:14Time to get to work and we be rocking hard.
00:44:17Game, set, match like a superstar.
00:44:20Taking over, yeah, we taking full control.

00:44:26Blink and you might miss it, that's a touchdown.
00:44:29Knock it out the park, we too tough now.
00:44:32We ain't rolling over, but we're rolling.

00:44:54But my game be flawless, hot like Adonis.
00:44:57We be shooting them winners, never misses like.
00:45:06Super, super, super, yeah, we're supercharged.
00:45:10Switch.
00:45:12Flawless, flawless, flawless, flawless.
00:45:15Yeah, yeah, yeah, flawless.
00:45:18Okay.
00:45:19So welcome back to the FISE World Series.
00:45:22We're here at the third and final stop in Shanghai.
00:45:26And what is happening right now?
00:45:28Well, it's the UCI BMX Bristol Park World Cup in the women's category.
00:45:33We just wrapped up our first heat of six riders,
00:45:36but we still have six more of the best riders to go.
00:45:40Right now in the hot seat, it's Sun Jiaqi doing it for China.
00:45:47Yeah, they had some incredible.
00:45:49Each of these women riders were pushing the level of what they could do.
00:45:53You saw them sending it to the fullest.
00:45:56But right now, as it stands, you see the leaderboard.
00:45:59But we got six more that are ready to go
00:46:02and excited to put their touches on this course
00:46:05and show their aspect of art throughout all the different components
00:46:11that this Hurricane Parks has to offer.
00:46:15We go to heat number two.
00:46:20And now you see them warming up in the background.
00:46:26Getting some epic shots of this city.
00:46:29And right there, you see all the social media outlets.
00:46:32Check them out to stay up to date on everything that's happening.
00:46:41So follow all the action online that is happening here at the West Bund
00:46:46right next to the Huangpu River in Shanghai.
00:46:52Now the Bund might sound familiar to you because it's another district here,
00:46:55but this is the newer Bund, the newer district, the West Bund.
00:46:59But we're not talking about the city of Shanghai.
00:47:01We're talking about our next rider,
00:47:03and that is going to be Macarena Perez-Gracet from Chile.
00:47:10Yeah, let's go, Maca.
00:47:14She put together some awesome qualifying runs to get her into this second heat.
00:47:18And here we go as she comes into the massive jump box.
00:47:22Huge backflip to start her run off.
00:47:25Carving from the bank to the quarter.
00:47:27Flying across the course.
00:47:29Clicking the toboggan over the G-Shock step-up.
00:47:33Keeping her flow going.
00:47:35And look at this big transfer air down back into the jump box.
00:47:39Looking for that tuck no-hander.
00:47:41See her nodding her head, but she's keeping her momentum going
00:47:44as she's halfway through her run.
00:47:46What she got for us, tabletop transferring into that bank wall.
00:47:52Oh, looking for that look back.
00:47:54She had some awesome ones in qualifying.
00:47:57But right now, clicking that X-up.
00:48:01Keeping her run going as she moves into the final 10 seconds.
00:48:04Toboggan on the G-Shock quarter.
00:48:08Opposite hip and a tailwhip.
00:48:10Yes, Maca.
00:48:12Sticking the tailwhip.
00:48:14That'll definitely get her some points,
00:48:16and that is going to be time on her first run.
00:48:20What a run by the silver medal from the Pan American Games
00:48:24from last year in San Diego.
00:48:30Also one of the few riders that has not one,
00:48:33but two Olympic diplomas.
00:48:38Let's check out these replays.
00:48:40Big backflip to start her run off.
00:48:43Right here, Toboggan.
00:48:45Big backflip to start her run off.
00:48:48Right here, Toboggan giving it a little extra steeze.
00:48:51Clicking it past 90 degrees right there.
00:48:55Tabletop transferring hip.
00:48:59Right here, the tailwhip.
00:49:01Kicking it around and getting her feet to the pedals.
00:49:07You saw a few places in her run that she wanted to add to.
00:49:11So you know she's going to go back to the drawing board
00:49:13on a few things and come out swinging in run number two.
00:49:16But currently sitting in fourth place with a 63.8.
00:49:28Crank up the volume for the next rider from Germany.
00:49:33It's going to be Kim Leah Muller.
00:49:36Starting with the transfer.
00:49:37Picking up the speed for the big jump box.
00:49:39360 can-can.
00:49:43Keeping all that speed.
00:49:44Ready to hit the step up.
00:49:46360 tailwhip.
00:49:49That is a big step up.
00:49:52Pretty hard to 360, but she 360 tailwhips it.
00:49:56Combining the two tricks in one jump.
00:49:59183.8.
00:50:01Combining the two tricks in one jump.
00:50:04180 disaster.
00:50:07Come on Kim, keep it going.
00:50:11Muller's been only 22 years old.
00:50:14The girl from Hemscheidt in Germany.
00:50:17And she's going to call it.
00:50:26Looks like her line got a little bit off
00:50:28and so she's going to call it right there.
00:50:32That was an incredible start.
00:50:34That 360 tailwhip up that step up
00:50:38was so rad.
00:50:40And she's had quite the season so far.
00:50:43She was also in the first, if I'm not mistaken,
00:50:47televised women's BMX event at X Games Ventura
00:50:51where she got bronze.
00:50:55Look at that 360 tailwhip.
00:50:56That was wild.
00:51:01Building the suspense for her second run.
00:51:03Score coming in right there is a 40 even.
00:51:07Again, I want to see her put that all together
00:51:09and keep that run momentum going.
00:51:12She'll probably check in with her coach,
00:51:13Josh Currie from Australia
00:51:15to get some tips and pointers.
00:51:17But next up, it's Lara Lesman.
00:51:22The 2018 gold medal from the Youth Olympics.
00:51:26The 2017 world champion.
00:51:29And the winner of Chengdu
00:51:31the last time we were here
00:51:33with Fize in China.
00:51:35And she is ripping on the course already.
00:51:39Look back over the hip.
00:51:41Quick little no foot can-can.
00:51:43Yes!
00:51:44Foot plant to can-can on the wall ride.
00:51:48Sui no-hander.
00:51:52Like she has so much tricks in her pocket
00:51:54and she's showcasing all of them.
00:51:57Sui no-hander.
00:51:59Come on, Lara.
00:52:01Keep on pedaling.
00:52:03Build up that speed to hit the box.
00:52:05To hit the quarters.
00:52:08One footed X-up.
00:52:09She's got 20 seconds left.
00:52:12Getting the extension on that can-can.
00:52:15Turn down.
00:52:17Into her final 10 seconds.
00:52:18Oh, a little nose bonk right there over the hip.
00:52:21Tabletop stepping back into that UCI wall.
00:52:23One footed X-up.
00:52:27Two.
00:52:28One.
00:52:29And that is going to be time for Lara.
00:52:32That was some top notch riding from her.
00:52:35All kinds of combos.
00:52:41Linking different tricks back to back.
00:52:43Let's check out some of these replays.
00:52:46Sui no-hander.
00:52:47Which is where you throw both your hands behind you
00:52:50holding the bike with your legs.
00:52:53Little one footed table right there.
00:52:57I mean how wild would it be
00:52:59like six years after the FISE World Series in Shangdun
00:53:03winning this one here in Shanghai.
00:53:06What a comeback it would be.
00:53:16So to get onto the podium
00:53:19for the time being she needs a 65.61.
00:53:23Haha.
00:53:25See the cameraman.
00:53:29We'll see what the judges have for her
00:53:31as the score comes in.
00:53:3267 even.
00:53:34So that does put her in third place.
00:53:40She's stoked on that.
00:53:46Now we go to Japan's Miharo Ozawa.
00:53:50She is one of the up and coming talents this year.
00:53:52She took quite a nasty crash in her first run
00:53:54at FISE Montpellier.
00:53:56Coming back for full redemption
00:53:58and getting the silver medal at FISE Montpellier.
00:54:00Look how fast she's going.
00:54:01Backflip barspin.
00:54:02Wow.
00:54:03What a start already by Ozawa Miharu.
00:54:07X up the box.
00:54:11Okay realigning for the box.
00:54:13Pulling up at speed again.
00:54:14360 barspin.
00:54:16The truck driver as we call it.
00:54:18X up.
00:54:20She is trying to hit every obstacle that is possible.
00:54:23Tailwhip into the G-Shock quarter pipe.
00:54:25Yes Miharu keep this momentum going.
00:54:30She rips around the corner.
00:54:31Coming back.
00:54:32Can-can.
00:54:35Over the step up.
00:54:36X up.
00:54:38Trick after trick right now.
00:54:39Going.
00:54:40Stepping down into the big portion.
00:54:42X up to X up back.
00:54:44Cutting the corner of that long and low box.
00:54:46Tabletop over the hip.
00:54:48Final three seconds.
00:54:52Alley-oop barspin right there.
00:54:54And that is going to be time.
00:54:56What a run.
00:55:00A lot of variety of tricks.
00:55:02It was awesome to see the backflip barspin
00:55:04and the 360 barspin.
00:55:08She's going to get it.
00:55:09She's going to get it.
00:55:10She's going to get it.
00:55:11She's going to get it.
00:55:12360 barspin.
00:55:16It's rad to see how much of a family friendly sport BMX can be
00:55:19because if you just watch the men's finals as well
00:55:22we had Kaede Ozawa who was actually Miharu's brother.
00:55:32So awesome.
00:55:33And then right here 360 barspin.
00:55:36It's got to be so cool to be able to compete with your brother
00:55:39on this level.
00:55:41Look at that tailwhip.
00:55:47Extending that can-can on the step up.
00:55:50Right here fully clicked.
00:55:52X up one way.
00:55:54And then looking for that X up back the other way.
00:55:58Alley-ooping barspin right there into that UCI slant wall.
00:56:02This was the first year that she started competing in the World Cup
00:56:05because last year at the UCI World Cup in Bajong
00:56:08she won the amateur competition.
00:56:11That's awesome.
00:56:12And her score coming in right there.
00:56:1371 even putting her into third place.
00:56:16So mixing up that leaderboard.
00:56:18Keeping everybody on the edge of their seat.
00:56:22Our next rider.
00:56:24We saw her at the European Championships in Cadenazzo, Switzerland
00:56:28taking the win.
00:56:29She is rock and roll on a bicycle.
00:56:31It's Sasha Pardo from Great Britain starting off with the tabletop.
00:56:35Hitting the big box with the backflip.
00:56:38Landing it perfectly into the transition.
00:56:40Ready to hit that big step up.
00:56:42360.
00:56:47She's not even 15 seconds in.
00:56:49She keeps it going.
00:56:50She keeps on cranking the pedals.
00:56:51Building up the speed for the highest jumps possible.
00:56:54Cranking the turn down.
00:56:56After the ET and here we go.
00:56:59Flying across the course and blasting that hip.
00:57:04Look back on the UCI slant wall.
00:57:07Wow, that was a cool transfer.
00:57:11Hipping into the elevated portion.
00:57:13X-up over that elevated volcano.
00:57:18Here we go.
00:57:19Coming back at the box jump.
00:57:21Huge 360 over the box jump.
00:57:23Foot coming off.
00:57:24Didn't look like it hit the ground.
00:57:26But causing her to get off route.
00:57:30And fly it onto the top of that quarter.
00:57:35Too bad about the slip up after a 360.
00:57:38But she still has a second run.
00:57:43To get the perfect run down.
00:57:45Yeah, she was ripping across the course right there.
00:57:48Blasting the backflip.
00:57:51Right here, that 360.
00:57:56Up the step up.
00:57:57Up the step up.
00:57:58There's the ET.
00:57:59And then locking in the turn down.
00:58:02To the point of hitting her leg.
00:58:04Which means you really got it clicked into place.
00:58:07Got the steeze over that hip.
00:58:09Right here, the 360.
00:58:11Looks like it was rotating just a bit.
00:58:13She kept the foot off the ground.
00:58:16But with having the foot off of her pedal.
00:58:18She wasn't able to hold the line.
00:58:20She was trying to and had to jump out of that quarter.
00:58:23Still got a smile on her face.
00:58:27She's one to watch.
00:58:29Had a nasty crash last year in Montpellier.
00:58:3220th in Enoshima.
00:58:35Then at this year's Montpellier.
00:58:37Finished on the podium.
00:58:40In the 3rd spot.
00:58:43She's a warrior, definitely knows how to fight back.
00:58:46And keep things rolling.
00:58:47She's going to have to channel that as she goes into run number 2.
00:58:52But let's see what the judges give her for run number 1.
00:58:58Score coming in.
00:59:0071.6!
00:59:03Like, I'll take that! Thumbs up!
00:59:05And keep into account, she slipped a pedal.
00:59:08She missed the last seconds of that first run.
00:59:10So what if she would have nailed her first run?
00:59:13That could have put her on maybe the 2nd spot, maybe even 1st.
00:59:17But we still have one more rider for their first run.
00:59:22And that is the Olympic qualifier series winner here in Shanghai from May this year.
00:59:29Sun Cebei!
00:59:33The vice world champion of Glasgow.
00:59:36And here we go.
00:59:37Sun is in.
00:59:39Bar spin, stepping down, coming at the box jump.
00:59:42Wow! 360 double bar spin.
00:59:46Wall ride to X-up.
00:59:49Coming at the step-up.
00:59:50Huge Sui Nohander.
00:59:54Keeping her flow and momentum going.
00:59:56X-up.
00:59:58Step-down transfer.
01:00:01Tuck Nohander getting the extension she was looking for right there.
01:00:05Charging back across the course.
01:00:08Bar spin to X-up.
01:00:14She going stepping back down into that UCI wall.
01:00:19Keeping her run going as she moves into the final 10 seconds.
01:00:24Let's go Sun.
01:00:25Tabletop.
01:00:28Look back, stepping back into that slant wall.
01:00:33And that is going to be time for Sun.
01:00:39It was the near perfect run that secured her the win at the Olympic qualifier series.
01:00:46Will the judges deem this run a near perfect one as well?
01:00:53We're about to find out.
01:00:56360 double bar spin.
01:00:58Watch this.
01:00:59One, two.
01:01:00And she fully catches the bars in between each bar spin.
01:01:04Right here the Sui Nohander where you extend the hands behind the back.
01:01:08Versus the Tuck Nohander where you put the bars in your lap.
01:01:12Both of them extension to the fullest.
01:01:16Right there bar spin to X-up.
01:01:19A lot of different tricks.
01:01:21A lot of different lines.
01:01:24That is definitely what the judges are looking for and she is stoked on that run.
01:01:29As we now wait for the judges to tabulate everything.
01:01:33Giving the heart and there's the score.
01:01:35Wow.
01:01:36Putting her in first place in 84.2.
01:01:43So that means we have China dominating this competition.
01:01:48With two of the riders on top of the podium.
01:01:55So we just wrapped up the first runs of the second heat.
01:01:58But there is more to come.
01:02:00All these riders will have that second run.
01:02:02And as we said it's the best run that counts for the total score.
01:02:08And here we go.
01:02:09Maka is ready to go for run number two.
01:02:13Flying into the box jump.
01:02:16Boosting that backflip right there.
01:02:18Yeah Maka.
01:02:20Coming back across the course.
01:02:21Look at the speed.
01:02:24Locking in that toboggan.
01:02:27And Steezy over that.
01:02:29And now here she goes.
01:02:30Stepping back down into the lower portion of the course.
01:02:33Maka halfway through her run.
01:02:37Tabletop transfer right there.
01:02:39That is a big hit.
01:02:40Big gap.
01:02:42Maka flying on it.
01:02:43Oh.
01:02:45Maka looking for that X-up.
01:02:46Right here keeping her momentum going.
01:02:49And looks like she's going to jump off of her bike.
01:02:53It's hard.
01:02:54These riders have a run that's in their head.
01:02:56That they have planned.
01:02:57That they want to do.
01:02:58And when a couple of the components don't go right.
01:03:01Ah.
01:03:03It's so difficult.
01:03:09But it's always a treat to get to watch Maka ride.
01:03:12Awesome to see her.
01:03:13And it's always a treat to see her.
01:03:15And it's always a treat to see her.
01:03:17And it's always a treat to see her.
01:03:19And it's always a treat to see her.
01:03:21Awesome to see her get that tail whip.
01:03:23And run number one.
01:03:24But let's look at a couple highlights from run number two.
01:03:26Looking at these replays.
01:03:30And the height that she's getting on that backflip.
01:03:33Tagging that back wheel a bit.
01:03:34But that toboggan.
01:03:35We got to know that.
01:03:36Look at that.
01:03:37She fully clicked that toboggan.
01:03:43Silver medal from Enoshima in February this year.
01:03:48Right there.
01:03:49You see her tagging that wheel.
01:03:52A little disappointment.
01:03:54But she's keeping it going.
01:03:57Hanging out with everyone.
01:03:58She's going to hang on to score from run number one.
01:04:01Which was a 63.8.
01:04:03Which currently has her in eighth place.
01:04:08Back to Germany.
01:04:09To Remscheid.
01:04:10To Kim Lea-Müller.
01:04:15The silver medal at the 2022 and 2023 European Games.
01:04:22Ready to hit the big jump box.
01:04:23The 360 can-can.
01:04:26Great way to start that second run.
01:04:29Full speed.
01:04:30At the step up 360 tail whip.
01:04:35But she's back up again.
01:04:40Going in on that 360 tail whip.
01:04:44I think she hurt herself.
01:04:47As she landed.
01:04:48Trying to get away from the bike.
01:04:51While Scott Blatt's with her.
01:04:56Her partner Dean Florian also had a crash unfortunately.
01:05:01During his finals earlier this morning.
01:05:05So I hope both of them will be okay.
01:05:16And her head coach is with her as well.
01:05:18Tobias Wiecke.
01:05:22Also a great rider.
01:05:27Very friendly.
01:05:31And she also had the honor of riding at the Olympics this summer.
01:05:35Representing Germany.
01:05:36So here we have that 360 can-can.
01:05:40Full extension on that.
01:05:41And here's that 360 tail whip.
01:05:43We saw her lace it in run number one.
01:05:48But right there the bike just getting away from her.
01:05:52And we got Scott.
01:05:53The medical staff checking in.
01:05:57On her making sure everything's all good.
01:06:02Right now we're going to Germany's Laura Lessman.
01:06:07And she is locked in ready to go.
01:06:11Starting it out with a huge combo.
01:06:14One footed XF.
01:06:15You see her switching her stance right there.
01:06:17For the look back.
01:06:19Very peculiar way of riding.
01:06:21The no foot can.
01:06:22So you got to watch her feet.
01:06:23As she'll be switching them up for different tricks.
01:06:26Right there Sui no hander.
01:06:30Knack knack.
01:06:33No hander.
01:06:34Come on Laura.
01:06:36Halfway.
01:06:37That second run.
01:06:38Can-can.
01:06:40Quick bonk on that tip.
01:06:42Tabletop.
01:06:45Can-can.
01:06:46She's linking all the classic tricks.
01:06:48Throwing a bit of technicality in there as well.
01:06:50Turn down.
01:06:55Taboggan but.
01:06:57Over rotated the bars a bit.
01:07:01I don't know what happened.
01:07:05She was.
01:07:06Locked in a bit too much on the taboggan.
01:07:11Yeah.
01:07:12Looked like she had ended up with both hands.
01:07:14On the.
01:07:15On the grip.
01:07:16And just had those bars.
01:07:17Sideways.
01:07:19When she landed.
01:07:20Good to see her back on her feet.
01:07:22Cranking.
01:07:23That look back right there.
01:07:24Full extension on it.
01:07:27Foot plant.
01:07:28Can-can.
01:07:30That back wall ride.
01:07:32See if we can see what happened here.
01:07:34Oh.
01:07:35Looked like she was going for a bar spin.
01:07:37But just.
01:07:38Ended up freezing up in it.
01:07:39And then.
01:07:40Tried to grab it to get everything back into position.
01:07:43And unfortunately sliding out.
01:07:45But looked like she got out of that.
01:07:48All right.
01:07:49In the grand scheme of things.
01:07:50Still.
01:07:53Never like to see a rider go down.
01:07:56That's going to be a throwaway score.
01:07:58And she's going to stick with that first run score.
01:08:02So we're going to turn our attention.
01:08:04To Japan's.
01:08:05Miharu.
01:08:07Miharu.
