00:00What's up guys we're back with another video today, we got the Poco x6 Pro
00:05Let's go ahead and take a look at this like I said
00:08I usually like old flagships, but Poco actually makes some really good mid-range phones
00:13So I wanted to see what it's all about I still use my Poco x3 Pro
00:17You guys know when that came phone came out. It was a beast. It was really really good for a mid-range phone
00:24And I could easily recommend it because the chip was so powerful had a headphone jack
00:30Infrared port there was a lot going for that phone, so let's see what Xiaomi is doing these days with the x6 Pro here

00:50So it's like a upper mid-range phone

00:57Of course one thing about Xiaomi phones is that
01:01You're always gonna get a really good unboxing experience. I think they're like one of the last companies
01:07There's probably some others, but Xiaomi does a really good job get a nice case

01:41Kind of reminds me of like leather, but this probably just plastic. It's matte, too
01:47And one of the best things about Xiaomi is that they put a fast charging brick in the box

02:05I thought this is gonna feel kind of cheap, but it doesn't even though. It's not a you know. It's not a I
02:12It's not IP 68 doesn't water-resistant. It's not glass and metal. It's just a plastic. It's got a silicone bat on here
02:20Um yeah, but it feels solid though
02:26Yeah, even the rails like you would kind of mistake it for
02:29Metal, but it's not I can tell because it doesn't have any type of cold touch
02:34But yeah, so really nice looking phone. They took away the headphone jack though. No headphone jack
02:40That sucks that would have been made this phone killer though

02:50Let's move this guy up alright. Let's check out the display on here, so this is a pretty nice display
02:55It's an AMOLED display. It's 120 Hertz HDR 10 plus it also has 12 minutes peak brightness
03:02So it's pretty bright outdoors. It's a six point six seven inch display
03:06So pretty big phone, and it's got 1220 by 2712 a resolution
03:11So it's a pretty nice display a high resolution display, and then you also have 446 for the PPI
03:17So it's very sharp. You got pretty thin bezels on here as well, too, and it's a completely flat panel
03:24I'm really liking the display so far and
03:27I took it outdoors to take a couple photos
03:30And it did a pretty good job for the most part with you know direct sunlight and stuff like that
03:35So I'm really not mad at the display at all. It's really a you know pretty much a flagship quality
03:40Panel here for the most part so really really nice
03:44Looking panel here, so let's talk about these specs a little bit more here
03:48So you can see I've got the Geekbench scores pulled up here this phone does have the Dimensity 8300
03:54Ultra chipset on here you also have Android 14 with the hyper OS no SD card support unfortunately
04:00I think that would have really put this device over over the top
04:03I also have 256 gigs of internal storage
04:06Which is really nice because you're starting off with base storage
04:09Pretty high for the most part
04:11And then you also have 8 gigs of RAM and you can see the Geekbench scores and what they compare it to you
04:16So for a single core you can see it's pretty much on par with something like a snapdragon
04:22Triple-a processor or like the s21 FE you can see the Exynos model
04:28But it's pretty much on par
04:30With those phones for the most part and then for the multi-core score it actually scored
04:364,000 which is really good. You can see it's kind of up there with the snapdragon 8 gen
04:41One processor as well to did better than a pixel 7 Pro
04:45Um, so this is not a slow phone by any means. It's been really snappy
04:51bouncing in and out of applications
04:53It's gonna run pretty much like a flagship phone for the most part. This is why I really like this phone here
05:00and yeah, they've changed a little bit of
05:03You know me UI a little bit I think it still looks a lot like an iPhone unfortunately
05:08But yeah, I think this phone is like crazy buttery fast and let's go ahead and get into pub G
05:15And I'll show you guys what kind of settings we're getting here
05:17All right, so we're in pub G and of course, we're gonna get some great settings here
05:23We get 90 frames HDR extreme. We do have one here as well, too
05:28And yeah, this thing is gonna be a gaming beast when it comes to you know
05:34Playing pub G Call of Duty mobile fortnight, whatever you throw at it emulators. This is gonna be a really good phone
05:39So like I said, this is a pretty good old flagship alternative for people who game even though like I said
05:46It can't be a little bit more on the expensive side because like I said if you bought a used
05:51S21 FE or refurbished one you're gonna get you know, pretty good settings as well
05:56I don't think it does
05:59The 90 frames yet, but you will get HDR extreme and it only cost you like 200 bucks
06:06But like I said, this has its advantages because a lot of people they want something new
06:10They don't want our user refurbished phone and I definitely understand that respect that
06:16But yeah, so this is a pretty good performer
06:19You don't have to drop a ton of cash to be able to play pub G at a competitive level
06:23So that's really nice so far just use this phone I haven't noticed any type of overheating or anything like that
06:28so that's really sweet, so that's something that I really like and
06:33yeah, so
06:35So far performance is going to be
06:38Pretty good on here for the most part guys. And so like I said this this is like a mid-range that I will buy
06:46Even though you know
06:47You're kind of lacking some stuff like IP 68 and we're gonna move on to the camera so I can show you guys
06:52Kind of where they cut corners with these type of mid-range phones that have these really powerful chipsets
06:57But yeah when it comes to gaming and performance if that's like what you care about and you want
07:02You know that and you want a brand new phone. I would definitely buy this. Let's check out these stereo speakers

07:29Bad at all pretty good actually pretty good bass quality and pretty loud
07:38Yeah, so not bad the top speaker actually does give a good amount of
07:42You know quality and bass to it
07:45So a pretty full sounding for the most part you do have the under the display fingerprint sensor on here
07:51Which is very fast have no issues at all with this one
07:55This one is a optical one, but it feels like super super fast
08:01So that's something that I really like as well, too. And let's go ahead and just talk about the cameras on here
08:07All right. So let's talk about the cameras on here
08:10So it's a 64 megapixel standard on here and 8 megapixel ultra wide a 2 megapixel macro
08:16It shoots in 4k 30 and then a 16 megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 1080 60
08:22I like the image quality from the main sensor
08:26But the macro and the ultra wide are just not it's just not consistent with the main sensor for sure
08:32The ultra wide I thought was a little bit soft
08:35with shots
08:37But it was still pretty decent just like, you know dynamic range and stuff like that
08:42You could just tell it wasn't on par with the main camera and then also the macro camera is just whatever it's okay
08:49But the main sensor is actually pretty good on here. You actually get a good amount of
08:54Detail you actually get pretty nice colors
08:57Sometimes a little bit kind of saturated and kind of high contrast II
09:03But I really liked it
09:05I thought it did a really good job in this sort of low-light shot of my cat too
09:09And I thought was awesome. If you're in good lighting you have it's just gonna get you a really good shot
09:14So I actually think the cameras are good the selfie cam again was nothing crazy
09:18But it was pretty decent like you get a decent selfie out of here for sure and good lighting
09:23Yeah, I really like the the image quality on here for this price. It was pretty pretty good for the most part
09:30but like I said like
09:32Compared to like an older flagship. You're kind of lacking any type of telephoto lens on here
09:37You know stuff like that not being able to shoot in 4k 60
09:42But yeah, I actually think think it's pretty decent
09:44There's a nice pro mode on here as well to to take pictures and also video again was just somewhat decent
09:51It wasn't anything too crazy
09:53I actually thought the video was was it was decent, but like I said nothing too
09:57You know insane, but I was actually a little surprised by the video quality
10:02But for the most part these cameras are pretty good. I give them like a B
10:05All right, so let's talk about the battery life obviously. I'm gonna need more time with the battery life, but
10:12From what I've seen you know watch other people's videos and stuff like that very good battery life 5,000 milliamp hour battery
10:18So a big battery in this guy 67 watt charging remember. There's no wireless charging or anything like that is a mit ranger
10:27But yeah, so them throwing that fast charging brick-in-the-box. I think is an automatic
10:31You know plus for this phone being able to charge to 0 to 100. I believe in 45 minutes is absolutely nuts
10:39And um yeah, so you should be able to get all day battery like pretty easily with this phone
10:44I mean, I honestly just using it drain very little today
10:48But yeah, so what do you guys think of these Xiaomi phones? I think they're cleaning up me UI
10:52I think it's actually getting a little bit cleaner even though my only thing with this is that
10:57The way they do like certain stuff is a little weird to me
11:00But and I do think it looks a lot like an iPhone just like straight up
11:04There's no way you can look at this control panel not think it's an iPhone

11:21It's something I forget about but this like a goatee feature so remember guys you do have an infrared port on here if you use
11:27You see control fan DVD player AV receivers
11:30It's like this is like a really great thing to have TVs projectors
