00:15Today's phone is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, which is the baby brother of the Note 10 Pro,
00:20which we've previously covered on this channel.
00:22So many questions, though, about this phone and what it can do and how it's different from the other device and its predecessors.
00:29But keep watching to see what this phone can do.
00:32Now guys, I'm not gonna go through the unboxing because I'm sure you've already seen a couple by now,
00:37but real quickly, it does come with a 33 watt charger and a cord. Nice!
00:41At its price point, this phone offers great value for a mid-range device.
00:59But I'm not gonna just tell, I'll show. Here are the highlights of this phone.
01:04Design-wise, it's a sleek device that looks like its Pro version but with a plastic back.
01:10Up front is Gorilla Glass. It has curved edges for better hand-holding,
01:14and it's a comfortable phone to hold even for smaller-handed people like me.
01:19I have the black version, though this comes in a white and a really, really cute lake green.
01:23I gotta be honest, though, and you guys know me, I really wanted the lake green over this black version,
01:28which we've pretty much seen before in other phones.
01:32Let's talk about the display. That is a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, and yes,
01:36the AMOLED screens on more affordable phones. That just means there's an always-on display,
01:41so you can add these cute Xiaomi backgrounds, and you can even customize or add your own
01:47photo on the always-on display, and there are even cute notification animations.
01:52It's bright and responsive, as you can see. It's perfect for binging on your favorite shows
01:56or my videos. Thanks, guys! It looks good and sounds good with two speakers here and here,
02:01so you never have to worry about accidentally covering those speakers with your hands when
02:05you're watching on your phone, and you're actually listening to those speakers right now.

02:35This phone features four cameras on the back, a 48-megapixel main shooter,
02:45an 8-megapixel wide, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
02:51This camera can shoot in 1080p 30fps, which is what you're seeing right now,
02:55and it can zoom up until 6x. And then there's also a wide,
03:02but you can't really switch to it while recording, so you have to stop recording
03:06and then switch to the wide for video. It's also 1080p 60fps, this is that,
03:12and it can zoom up until 6x. And you can also shoot in 4k, so this is 1x.
03:236x in 4k. Now, I'm showing you this even if I'm not gonna export this in 60fps or 4k,
03:29because it depends on which phone you use. Sometimes processing is different,
03:33so you get an idea of how everything looks.
03:35And also, wide doesn't seem to work on 4k or 1080p 60fps.
03:40Cameras are pretty versatile. It can do wide up until 10x,
03:45and I'm pretty much impressed with the 2x, though I wouldn't go over that.
03:49In ideal lighting situations, you get these bright, vibrant photos,
03:53and I just love the natural bokeh you get on the 1x.
03:57The selfie camera is a 13 megapixel camera. I'm shooting with it right now,
04:01and this is 1080p 30fps. Let's take some selfie samples.
04:05Selfies look good, and the dash of beauty mode works,
04:09and the portrait mode is also looking good. It's not perfect.
04:12No, portrait mode is perfect, but it does the job.
04:15In true Xiaomi fashion, there are many, many camera features. Let me show you.
04:21Right, so let's do a quick camera tour so I can show you. And yes,
04:24that is a fingerprint unlock. We have photo, and we saw this earlier.
04:28You can do wide up until 10x. We have video, and you have pro video for photos and videos.
04:39And you can use the different lenses, wide, ultra wide, macro on this pro mode.
04:44On the other side, you have a portrait mode. You have more.
04:49There is a night mode. You can do 1x, 2x.
04:57Up until 10x, there is a 48 megapixel mode, meaning you're using the main camera to shoot
05:0348 megapixels because these cameras do use pixel binning to create smaller but better photos.
05:09Then, there's short video mode, which is Xiaomi's solution to social media
05:13not optimizing Android phones. So, now you can shoot straight from your camera app,
05:19and then after shooting, for example, you can just upload to your social media accounts,
05:24which will show up here once you have them signed on.
05:26You have panorama, documents, a slow motion mode, and you can do up until 960 fps.
05:33Also, a time-lapse mode. And yeah, you can edit all the different settings on that.
05:40Right, this is a selfie mode. You also have portrait, and you also have video.
05:45Now, you guys know that I usually go through all these settings very extensively in my camera tour,
05:51but this is a different type of video, and we have other things to talk about.

06:02This thing is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chip.
06:05I have the 6GB, 128GB version, though there are four with 128 or 64GB versions.
06:12So, this handled my everyday multitasking.
06:14LOL, I do a lot of multitasking.
06:17I also played some games on it, and it was able to handle my casual gaming from Bejeweled...
06:23...to Water Sort Puzzle...
06:35...to Asphalt 9 in default settings, and I had no issues with it whatsoever.
06:53And even PUBG in these settings, with a high frame rate, did pretty well.
07:10And yes, there's also game turbo mode on here,
07:24which allow for optimum settings for all your gameplay needs.
07:29And not only can you handle those games and my multitasking,
07:32this thing is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, and like I said earlier, 33W fast charging.
07:40And those to me are the highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.
07:43I mean, aside from the crazy great price tag,
07:46this thing is a well-rounded device that's definitely a step up from its predecessor,
07:50the Redmi Note 9.
07:51The Redmi Note 10 offers great features like an AMOLED screen or 33W fast charging
07:56that are good to find in a phone, but even better to find at this price point.
