00:04Here's your Spooky Spot on the Spirit Halloween Child's Play 2 Spirit Collector's Box.
00:29I must have been so blinded by the reflection off this case I didn't even notice we're
00:32being joined by the Paranormal Candle.
00:35You haven't been around for the last little while, Candle?
00:37Everything okay?
00:38Oh, you don't want to talk about it?
00:41Okay, we'll talk about it a little bit later.
00:43At the time, though, of course, that I looked at the Terrify Collector's Case, I happen
00:46to have picked up as well the Child's Play 2, alluding also in that earlier review that
00:50I picked up too.
00:51This is the second one.
00:52Ironically enough, also, it's Child's Play 2.
00:54Feature on the front, of course, there's Chucky cutting what looks to be the springs,
00:58the neck connecting Jack's head to the rest of his body.
01:01Featured inside, six collector's items for one great price.
01:05Technically, I did add collector's, it only actually said six items, but I think they're
01:09valuable enough to justify the price.
01:11Some would maybe say otherwise.
01:12This set, by the way, this case, set me back around $18, $18.95, I think, to more be exact.
01:18As a reversible package art, so if you don't really like the fact it does have this sticker
01:22or the fact it tells you exactly the contents inside, you want this to look a little bit
01:26more like a VHS tape from a retro video store, you can take, of course, the insert and you
01:31can flip it around.
01:32You don't have to make the noise while you're doing it because it's just going to pester
01:36everybody that's sitting with you, but you can just take the case off and you can take
01:40the insert and you can flip it around.
01:41Of course, before we do that, though, there is one thing that's preventing us from doing
01:44this and it's the fact that it's this little connecting tab.
01:48Now, essentially what it is, it's already wrapped around in plastic and then there's
01:51this, well, it's a little fastened piece that sits inside itself.
01:55We have to undo that first.
01:56I don't know why I was struggling so much to do that and I think even when we looked
02:00at the Terrafire case, I even brought out my knife.
02:02Oh, I'm such a silly man, silly, silly man.

02:09We're going to open this up, though.
02:10We're going to just peel off the layer here.
02:12I don't really even need this other than just to be a reminder to me that I spent $18.99

02:17We're going to discard it off to the side, seeing as we also did this also in the earlier
02:21review.
02:22Here's the Terrafire case.

02:26I think we actually looked at it this week.
02:27And then, of course, bringing in some of the other cases also as well, I've got myself
02:30It Chapter 2 and I also got myself Trick or Treats, all work the same way.
02:36Now this year also they had a few new additions.
02:39I think one of them was Beetlejuice.
02:40I'm trying to think of another one.
02:42There were a couple of ones that really did catch my eye, but I have to be really responsible
02:47with my finances here.
02:48I can't just be just shelling out money for just empty case collectors, things like this.
02:53I'm going to probably go back a little bit later.
02:56And I hope that all the things that I was kind of eyeing, if anything, Terrafire and
02:58Child's Play 2 were the ones I was kind of the most interested in.
03:02I think, in fact, Child's Play 2 was available last year.
03:04Does anybody really care?
03:05Nobody probably even cares.
03:06Of course, that's the front of the case.
03:08I do like that it's got a little bit of weathering and age to it, so it does look like an old
03:11rental video store case.
03:13On the side, of course, you've got Child's Play, a little Chuckie down below.
03:16Says SHV, Spirit Halloween Video.
03:20I would imagine that's what SHV stands for.
03:23Of course, at the top, though, you've also got Spirit Home Video.
03:25So I guess that's Spirit Home Video, not Spirit Halloween.
03:28I thought I really knew what SHV was.
03:30Apparently, I don't.
03:31It's right up there, Spirit Halloween Home Video.
03:34On the back, though, Chuckie's back, a notorious killer doll with a satanic smile comes back
03:38to life in this new chapter depicting the terrifying struggle between Andy Barclay and
03:43a demonic doll attempting to possess his soul.
03:48Despite being roasted to a crisp in his last escapade, Chuckie rises from the ashes after
03:53being reconstructed by a toy factory to dispel the negative publicity surrounding the doll.
03:59Back in one piece, Chuckie tracks his prey to a foster home where his chase begins again
04:04in this fiendishly clever sequel to the enormously popular original.
04:10Not only is that a good read up, but I would also say as well Child's Play 2 is my favorite
04:13from the franchise, bar none.
04:15It's even better, I feel, than the original.
04:17Do you feel like the original is better than Child's Play 2, or do you feel like Child's
04:20Play 2 is the superior sequel?

04:25I have had similar discussions with the candle.
04:28The candle actually thinks Seed of Chuckie is the best from the franchise.

04:33Anyways, it is a reversible case.
04:36Before we actually reverse anything, though, I did want to show you guys inside that there's
04:39the cardboard tape.
04:40It's not made of plastic, nor try to force this into a VCR.
04:43If you still happen to watch your movies in VCRs, you're only just going to break this
04:47cardboard.
04:48And you're probably going to also jam the machine as well.
04:49Your dad's going to come in the room and he's just going to say, what did you do now?
04:54That's what my dad used to say.
04:55Sticker featured on the front, though.
04:56You've got Child's Play 2 collector's box, got a little nice little sticker there off
04:59to the side.
05:00And of course, you've got the label featured from the front.
05:03This would be...
05:04I guess you would consider the spine of the VHS, the videotape.
05:07You put that right there.
05:10I did also, of course, want to make mention of the fact that it does have a reversible
05:13insert.
05:14I'm curious.
05:15The insert is probably just going to look like this, and it's not going to have this,
05:17and it's not going to have this.
05:19And it's going to be probably a little bit cleaner of an insert.
05:21Why am I even saying this?
05:22I could just probably just show you guys.
05:24So we're going to pull out the insert.
05:26That's what it looks like on the side that we started with.
05:29And this is the new side.
05:30So it looks like Chucky is a little bit bigger.
05:33It doesn't have the reversible package sticker on the top.
05:36It doesn't have these six items inside.
05:39The spine's a little cleaner.
05:40It doesn't have... well, it has still Spirit Home Video on the top.
05:44And the other thing, too, the pictures, the pictures are very much different, too.
05:47Instead of them being only on the top, they're on the side this time around.
05:51And there's a nice picture of Chucky.
05:52Although Chucky's here, there, it just doesn't have the images of everything that's included
05:56inside the case.
05:57So if you like the cleaner look, and you don't like the idea that this looks anything like
06:01something you would buy with contents, like collectible contents inside, use this insert.
06:06If you like the more weathered look to the tape, like this guy, like this guy right here.

06:13You can use this one instead.
06:14So I'm going to stick with what I started with.
06:16I'm going to just put that back into the case.

06:38Now, we already know from previous experience that the flap is on the top.

06:45And the last time we did this with this guy, I forgot that the sticker was still inside

06:51I'm not going to make that mistake this time around.
06:53So you should have, based at least on what I'm looking at here, I think they're always
06:55going to be the same.
06:56You're going to have a patch.
06:57You're going to have two buttons.
06:58You're going to have two decals or stickers.
07:02And then you're going to have the lanyard.
07:04Based on that, we should have six contents.
07:06So we've got ourselves the lanyard.
07:08We've got some pins.
07:09We've got a patch.
07:10We've got some stickers.

07:17So we're going to fold this all up and we're just going to put the case off to the side.
07:22I always keep these cases, by the way, and I just put them back in the cases.

07:27That's part of the charm and the allure of these sets.
07:29I mean, if you're going to be spending, forking over the $18, don't just be throwing these
07:34away willy nilly.
07:35Don't do that.
07:36So the first thing that we have is a patch and that is a nice looking patch, a good size
07:40too.
07:41I'm your friend till the end.
07:44I don't throw away these bags because the bag actually tells you how to sew this on.
07:48You're not sewing it.
07:49Let me rephrase that.
07:50I know the candle was going to correct me.
07:52You actually have to iron this on.
07:54Basically you put the patch onto a denim jacket, a vest.
07:58Maybe not do it with leather.
07:59But if you have yourself a regular denim vest, just put this on, put a cloth over top, take
08:03a few passes with the iron.
08:07That's the steam coming out of the iron.
08:10And then you would just adhere it that way.
08:12So for that, I don't end up getting rid of the bag because I will obviously need the
08:15bag for the instructions.
08:17So that's what the patch looks like.
08:19That's a pretty good looking patch.
08:21Check the future on the front.
08:23I like that.

08:25That's an, it doesn't have, it doesn't have as much of like that sewn feel.
08:29The only thing that's really actually sewn on it is like the border and then the font.

09:32So what we have sticker wise is we have this one, of course, exactly like the poster.

09:42This seems sort of just like some fan made this thought, oh, you know, that's kind of

09:53if it's on fire.
09:55That's what it looks like.
09:56Not one of the better looking stickers.
09:57I hate to admit that's the better looking sticker.
10:01And of course, the last thing that we have is the lanyard.
10:03So we'll open up the bag.
10:05The lanyard should have two things.
10:06Well, I guess technically three things.
10:08You have the main part that goes around your neck, which has Chuckie.

10:14Well, actually it says, hi, my name is Chuckie.
10:18It does connect at the bottom here.
10:21These I think detach.
10:22Yeah.
10:23So if you want to, I don't know why, if you had to struggle fitting this around your neck,
10:26maybe you've got a neck like this big.
10:27I don't know.
10:28And you just struggle to get that around your neck.
10:30Not that I'm making fun of anyone that has like a tree trunk size neck, but that probably
10:34would be a little bit easier to fit around their neck.
10:36And then you have this part.
10:38So of course this would be the thing that holds your card.
10:41And then you've got this part right here, which is just a standalone jack.
10:45I always really liked that they include things like this, that it's not just the card holder
10:48alone and it's not just really the part that goes around your neck, that they actually
10:51throw like these little rubbery pieces in there as well.
10:53It's a little collector's piece of jack, a little jack.
10:57So sad.
10:58Um, and yeah, so that's, you know, again, that's pretty cool.
11:01I mean, not everyone's going to really use these, but if you're one that has to go to
11:04work for example, and carry around an ID tag, you just put this around your neck and obviously
11:09you'd have to take this out if you want to put your true ID in there, unless you identify
11:13yourself perhaps as Charles Lee Ray.
11:16Maybe there are people out there with a real name, Charles Lee Ray.
11:18I hope you're not a serial killer, by the way.
11:21Yeah.
11:22So you've got your lanyard and, uh, as you know, again, going back, we got ourselves
11:25a couple of buttons, got two stickers with really only being the one sticker being the
11:29better of the two.
11:30This sticker is kind of, and then the last thing we also had as well was the patch.
11:35Of course, all that sits inside the case.
11:37Let's move these other cases out of the way here.
11:40Now the only thing I would say is like, some would say, I don't know, $18.
11:44That's a bit steep.
11:45You must have money to burn.
11:46I don't have any money to burn.
11:47And I don't think by law, you're really able to burn money.
11:50So some probably offense that you're committing some law that you're breaking, but yeah, I
11:54like the cases for what they are.
11:55I mean, every single year that I do end up looking at these, I think we're only now back
11:59to back two years, two years that we've looked at the collector's cases probably will still
12:03find myself going back to the store.
12:04Like I need to like twist my rubber arm.
12:06I need to go back to spirit Halloween before October's over.
12:09Probably going to end up picking up a couple more of these there, or a few that caught
12:12my eye.
12:13I feel like child's play too, perhaps was there at the store last year.
12:16And maybe I just missed my chance to stop probably once and didn't see it again.
12:19Or maybe in fact, I was just delusional and it only came out this year, but as it is though,
12:23I mean, you got yourself a nice little collector's case.
12:25Even if you don't end up using the collectibles, you can always, of course, put them back in
12:28the box.
12:29But even if you do end up using the collectibles, I always keep the box and I keep it inside
12:32the case.
12:33So it buys into a little legitimacy, legitimacy.
12:36This looks like something you would have rented from the video store back in the eighties
12:39and nineties.
