Queensland's LNP has again fielded questions about abortion while on the hustings in the state's southeast.

00:00With just 8 days to go until the election, David Crisafulli took his campaign back to
00:07the Sunshine Coast.
00:08For the second time this week he visited Nicklin, a seat the LNP lost to Labor in the 2020 election
00:15and currently held on a margin of 0.1%.
00:18Mr Crisafulli made a funding promise for a network of new CCTV cameras if the LNP wins
00:24the election.
00:25However, the party's candidate, former MP Marty Hunt, was quizzed about his position
00:30on abortion in light of a social media post from 2020 by a pro-life organisation that
00:36described Mr Hunt as one of their best pro-life politicians.
00:40Abortion was decriminalised in Queensland in 2018.
00:44Asked if his views had changed in the last four years, Mr Hunt said he was committed
00:48to no changes to the law.
00:50Look, I'm proud to stand here with the leader today and the LNP team.
00:54I'm part of this team and I'm committed to what the leader said, no changes to the abortion
00:59laws.
