00:00So how did today's monthly Ballarat store sale go do you think Declan?
00:04All over I'm pretty happy with the results today, probably could be a touch cheaper in
00:08places on some sales but still really heavy steers making sort of $3.60 to $3.70 a kilo
00:15and weaners making in and around $4 and same on the heifers probably could be a touch better
00:19in places.
00:22The heavier heifers sort of $3 to $3.20 a kilo and a lot of the weaners sort of $3.40
00:28to $3.50.
00:29So look it probably just come off on some of those lighter cattle might have been a touch
00:32cheaper in places but as I said it's pretty good overall we're pretty happy with the result.
00:37The heavens opened as the sales started what sort of impact do you think that will have?
00:42If we do get a bit of continued rain especially down here we're going to have a lot more people
00:45probably step into livestock which will probably be a pretty significant improvement for our
00:50markets going forward but as I say it's probably one of those things we need to keep getting
00:54a little bit more but this was certainly a very very good start.
