00:00Why don't we get started by hearing a couple from Yankee manager Aaron Boone from just a little while ago.
00:05First off, Yankees up 2-0. Loves the way that they have handled it so far.
00:11Very approached, very focused. They're ready for tonight, game three.
00:14For you guys, you know, midseason when you were going through it, was that...
00:17I don't know.
00:18I feel like this group has done a really good job, even when we're going through, you know, some low moments of the season that...
00:25or we're getting tested at different times, a really good way about them.
00:30And through it all, you know, I felt like at times we're even remarkably confident.
00:36It's like, let's go boys. And they were, you know, showing up every day like unfazed, unworried,
00:43understanding the adversity and the grind you face in a season.
00:47But to their credit, they've done a great job with that.
00:52You know, look, the one thing that, you know, I... this guy Chisholm today.
00:59Now, look, I like him. I like his spunk. I like his attitude. I like his... he's entertaining and everything else.
01:05The problem I have with him is he doesn't do anything. Like, he does nothing.
01:09Like, really, like, his bat has been worthless, right? Like, let's face facts.
01:16So, what he hit a meaningless home run, you know, in a game, what?
01:22So, he said today, he starts shouting off today, they're going to win it all.
01:26He said, we're winning it. We're winning the whole thing. We're winning the World Series.
01:30And I've said that from the jump. That's what he's saying.
01:33He's like, you know, it's one thing to, you know, go do it and everything else and talk.
01:38It's another thing when you do nothing ever and you're talking like it's so automatic.
01:44Like, you hear Boone talking about confidence. Like, this kid's tripping.
01:49He's just really shooting his mouth off and he doesn't back it up with anything. I mean, honestly, Mike.
01:55It would be nice if he started doing that, if he did start backing it up,
01:59because the only thing he's done so far in this series, and I know it's only been two games,
02:05is get picked off a second base with first and second and nobody out the other night, which was not ideal at all.
02:12I will say this, for a guy who never played third base before, he's been, he's pretty good defensively.
02:16He's done a nice, he hasn't messed, he's been pretty good defensively over there at third position that he was not used to when he came over to the team.
02:24Speaking of lineup changes, as you mentioned, here's Boone talking about them.
02:29Of course, you have Trevino in for Wells today. You have Birdie back in for Rizzo.
02:34You have Stanton moved up to the cleanup spot. Here's Boone.
02:38I mean, they got a lefty going. Kind of say the first one we faced this postseason, because I don't count Reagans, because he's so the other way.
02:49You know, Trevi's an important part of this club and have a ton of confidence in him and what he brings to the table, too.
02:55So that, with Birdie, I loved how he looked in the division series, loved the dynamic he brings to the table.
03:06And I kind of went into this series knowing that it might be Boyd in game three.
03:12Probably that'd be the day coming off an off day with Riz.
03:17Now Riz is giving me pause, though, just with how good he's looked.
03:21But I still want to be mindful of what he is playing with and through and feel like, you know,
03:27a lot of this is the confidence I have in John, too, and what he can bring to the table here.
03:33Except John doesn't hit, and Rizzo's hitting 300 in the postseason.
03:39Yeah, I'm surprised. Rizzo's, I thought it was going to be questionable to throw him in so soon after his injury.
03:46He's got hits in both games. He's been great out there.
03:51So, look, I guess I kind of get what he's thinking. And here's the other thing that we got to remember, too.
03:57Even though this Boyd is starting for Cleveland, he could be out of there by the third or fourth inning,
04:02and they're going to hit Rizzo for Birdie, you know, when that comes back through.
04:07So it's probably just once or twice through the lineup, and then he's going to have him back in there.
04:12This is not a whole game thing with how these guys operate now.
