00:00What is M.A.S.?
00:05M.A.S. stands for Mobility as a Service.
00:08Specifically, regarding the M.A.S. for Italy project,
00:11it is the new mobility paradigm,
00:13which means the integrated mobility of all transport systems,
00:18public-local transport, bike-sharing, car-sharing, as a single service.
00:22The advantages will be that through the M.A.S. operators
00:25that will come out of the M.A.S. for Italy project,
00:28it will be possible to purchase, with a single travel title,
00:31a trip that includes multiple public transport vehicles.
00:34They can be public transport such as public vehicles,
00:36bike-sharing, taxis or trains.
00:39We are in the experimentation phase.
00:41Milan, for example, has already made 21,000 trips with the M.A.S. system
00:46through the new infrastructure that we have created with this project.
00:49The experiments have already started in Milan, Rome and Naples
00:55and there are three other cities and seven autonomous regions and provinces in the experimentation phase.
01:02The objective of the project is to extend on a national scale.
01:07Through this new paradigm, it will be possible to know better
01:11the costs of integrated transport vehicles,
01:15therefore giving up the car or the personal mobility device
01:20and thus improving the quality of life of all citizens.
01:23From public transport to bike-sharing, car-sharing, taxi service
01:29and also scooter-sharing or trains.
