00:00The school lunch from our point of view is a very effective tool from different points of view.
00:11First of all, it guarantees a healthy and balanced meal for all children, including those in absolute poverty,
00:18but it is also a powerful tool of socialization, of contrast to inequalities and a tool to combat school dispersion,
00:29because increasing the number of school lunches can also increase the time spent in schools.
00:36To date, only about half of primary school children have the right to access a school lunch.
00:44This is unacceptable for us, especially because this data is characterized by very strong territorial disparities,
00:52while in the center-north of the country school lunches are a habit of most children and students.
01:04This does not happen in the south, with provinces that have a coverage rate of less than 10% and even 5% in some cases.
