00:00Hi everybody, well I thought it'd be appropriate at the end of what's been a
00:03very scary day for a lot of our residents just do a quick update. Firstly
00:07I just want to thank all our residents and ratepayers today that have
00:11cooperated with all our emergency services. It's been a scary day for our
00:14city but we've all grouped together as we always do to pull through. Firstly I'd
00:20just like to acknowledge and thank the Rural Fire Service volunteers and all
00:23the Fire and Rescue staff members that have been here today in the city to
00:27combat this bushfire emergency. At the start of the day there was lots of
00:34concerns that we may see some property loss not only in the Ulladulla area but
00:39also the the now Abominary area. I'm very proud and very happy to say that at the
00:45end of the day we've recorded a couple of sheds and maybe some fences that have
00:48been lost but no major loss of any infrastructure including council and
00:52private and no loss of life and this was a very fast intense moving fire that
00:57burnt through the Abominary area this morning.
