Medicina, Melchiorre (Fdi): "Risorse utilizzate bene eviterebbero malasanità"

  • yesterday

00:00I remember two pictures well imprinted in the mind and soul of all Italians.
00:09The one of the health worker who was bedridden and was leaning against the desk.
00:16And the one from a few days ago at the United Hospitals in Foggia, where there were doctors
00:21lying in a room and trying in some way not to let in a group of people who wanted to attack them.
00:30Compared to this, the government has done many things.
00:33For example, in the month of September, it passed a law that punishes those who commit aggression,
00:40those who damage health and social structures.
00:43It has increased resources.
00:46It has thought about ADI, integrated home assistance.
00:49It has thought about community houses.
00:51It has thought about giving more resources to the regions.
00:54The fact is that some regions often do not have adequate organizational models.
01:00And so everything that happens, unfortunately, does not depend on the central government,
01:04but depends on how resources are used.
01:06Today, through the presentation of this text, which can be used both by aspiring doctors,
01:12to regenerate their principles, what is addressed to the attention of doctors,
01:20we are talking about building more and more blocks in this mosaic of the doctor's centrality,
01:26but also of the patient, of the person.
01:29To foresee a law that punishes those who make mistakes is a block compared to what is the main cause,
01:39evidently also of the wrong organizational models.
01:43There are also many episodes of poor health.
01:47I come from Puglia and there are many examples of poor health.
01:51If those resources were used well, there would certainly not be these problems.
01:58Today, an important newspaper, certainly not close to our part of the Republic,
02:04tells that 3 billion more will be allocated to health.
02:08So in contrast to all the other governments that have preceded us.
02:12We, the central government, are doing its part.
02:15We hope that even the regional governments can be on the move.
