00:52network of transnational scam and fraud operations.

00:55Chinese nationals Wang Zhiyang, Zhang Ruijin, and Lin Baoying are Guo's co-incorporators

01:01in Balfou Land, which housed two POGOs in Bambantarla when Guo was the mayor.

01:06Wang Zhiyang is wanted in the Philippines for human trafficking and in China for cross-border

01:11gambling.

01:12Linked to Guo through Wang Zhiyang is Ding Kaiwang, who's tied through a layer of companies

01:16to scam operations in Cambodia and cryptocurrency fraud in Hong Kong.

01:21Meanwhile, the couple Zhang Ruijin and Lin Baoying have been convicted of money laundering

01:25in Singapore and deported to Cambodia.

01:28These people's network has footprints as far as the Mediterranean, the UK, and the

01:32Caribbean and have altogether trafficked, scammed, and defrauded thousands of people.

01:37These crime suspects gained a foothold in the Philippines under Rodrigo Duterte's

01:41China-friendly administration.

01:44Agri-Congressman Wilbert Lee faces an ethics complaint at the House of Representatives

01:48over a microphone-grabbing incident in September.

01:51House Appropriations Senior Vice Chair Stella Kimbo and Vice Chair Angelica Natasha Koh

01:55filed the case Monday, October 14.

01:58During plenary debates for the 2025 national budget, Lee grabbed the mic from Senior Deputy

02:03Minority Leader Paul Daza to prevent him from ending the proceedings.

02:07Lee had sought to defer the approval of the proposed budget of the Health Department and

02:10PhilHealth, saying the agencies must address the high price of medical services.

02:15The incident earned Lee the ire of several other lawmakers, who accused him of grandstanding

02:19as he aspires for a Senate seat.

02:22Lee is running for Senator in 2025 under Aksyon Demokratiko.

02:25He says he's ready to explain his side once summoned by the Ethics Committee.

02:31The San Miguel-led new Naia Infrastructure Corporation defends the 900 percent increase

02:36in the price of VIP access at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

02:40The consortium says it raised the fee from P800 to P8,000 because the previous system

02:45had been abused.

02:46It says the original fee, quote, allowed virtually any passenger to avail of these privileges.

02:52Under the new VIP service protocol, the NNIC says VIP services will still be free for high-ranking

02:57government officials, foreign dignitaries, and officials with, quote, critical responsibilities

03:02to the nation.

03:04Services and assistance for persons with disability will also remain free.

03:07The new airport operator recently tripled overnight parking fees for cars from P300

03:12to P1,200.

03:15The private-led NNIC won a 15-year concession to manage Naia, tagged as one of the world's

03:20worst airports.

03:23Leaders of the group of atomic bomb survivors awarded the Nobel Peace Prize warns the risk

03:27of nuclear war is rising, renewing their call to abolish nuclear weapons.

03:32Shigemitsu Tanaka, a survivor of the 1945 U.S. bombing of Nagasaki and co-head of the

03:38Nihon Hidankyo group, says, the international situation is getting progressively worse and

03:42now wars are being waged as countries threaten the use of nuclear weapons.

03:47Tanaka says, I fear that we as humankind are on the path to self-destruction.

03:52In awarding the survivors, the Norwegian Nobel Committee highlights the devastation of the

03:56atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

03:59The committee says the group's endeavors have critical importance in the world today.

04:03Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled last month that Moscow would consider responding

04:07with nuclear weapons if the U.S. and its allies allow Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range

04:16Administrators of the Basilica Minore del Santonino de Cebu and its Augustinian friars

04:20implement a strict dress code barring entry to those in quote, inappropriate attire.

04:25The rules are printed on huge billboards and posted at the basilica's entrances.

04:30The following outfits are considered inappropriate.

04:36The basilica administrators also say they will no longer lend shawls to visitors whose

04:40attire may be considered inappropriate.

04:43The new dress code draws mixed reactions from locals and tourists.

04:46Some say violators deserve to be turned away, while others say the policy might be discriminatory

04:51to the poor.

04:52The Augustinian friars say the policy is designed to maintain the solemnity of the worship space

04:57and will align with practices observed at other churches and shrines both locally and

05:02internationally.
