Punjab के Ferozpur में Diphtheria का प्रकोप, 3 साल की बच्ची की मौत
पंजाब के फिरोजपुर में गलघोटू यानी डिप्थीरिया बीमारी से तीन साल की बच्ची की मौत हो गई है, जबकि 15 साल की एक अन्य बच्ची के भी पीड़ित होने की आशंका है। सूचना मिलते ही विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग की 8 टीमें फिरोजपुर पहुंचीं और टीकाकरण शुरू कर दिया। जानकारी के अनुसार, फिरोजपुर की आवा बस्ती में एक गरीब परिवार में तीन बच्चे हैं। किसी भी बच्चे को गलघोटू का टीका नहीं लगा था। इनमें से तीन साल की एक बच्ची गलघोटू का शिकार हो गई। उसे पहले आरएमपी डॉक्टर के पास ले जाया गया। चेकअप के बाद उसे फरीदकोट मेडिकल कॉलेज में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। अब फिरोजपुर की बौरियांवाली बस्ती से एक और सामने आया है, जहां 15 साल की लड़की गलघोटू बीमारी की शिकार बताई जा रही है।
