00:30All eyes are fixed on Thee
00:37In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
00:38All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Earth and the Heavens.
00:40And peace and blessings be upon the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:42And upon his family, his companions, his leaders, and his scholars.
00:46Ammaabad.
00:47Respected viewers and listeners,
00:49we are at your service with the Dars-e-Qur'an in the series
00:50Ursa-e-Syedna Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani R.A.
00:56In the memory of Syedna Abdul Qadir Jilani R.A,
00:59we have arranged for the Dars-e-Qur'an.
01:02And the verses that we have chosen for the Dars-e-Qur'an today
01:06are from Surah Al-A'la, verses 14 to 19.
01:11We have chosen the last verses of Surah Al-A'la.
01:15First, I will recite these verses.
01:17I will have the honour of reciting them and then I will translate them.
01:21After that, I will come to the analysis and clarification of their meanings and meanings.
01:27Allah the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an,
01:31In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
01:33Those who purify themselves and follow the path of their Lord will be successful.
01:38Indeed, you will have the life of this world, and the Hereafter will be better and more lasting.
01:43Indeed, this is mentioned in the first Surahs, the Surahs of Abraham and Moses.
01:49The meaning of this is that the one who purifies himself,
01:55the one who purifies himself will be successful.
02:01And he remembers his Lord's name and then prays.
02:05Indeed, you will have the life of this world, and the Hereafter will be better and more lasting.
02:14Indeed, this is mentioned in the first Surahs, the Surahs of Abraham and Moses.
02:24This is the meaning of the verse.
02:26The verses that I have recited are the Surahs of Surah Al-A'la.
02:32Surah Al-A'la is Surah number 87 in the Holy Qur'an.
02:37It is the last Surah of Surah Al-A'la.
02:43The number of Surahs of Surah Al-A'la is 19.
02:48Surah Al-A'la has 19 Surahs.
02:50The Prophet said that Surah Al-A'la was revealed before the migration to Makkah.
03:02What is the meaning of the term Makki Madani?
03:05It is understood that the one who was revealed in Makkah is Makki,
03:10and the one who was revealed in Madinah is Madani.
03:12But the correct saying is that the one who was revealed before the migration is called Makki.
03:17Whether he was revealed in Makkah or outside of Makkah.
03:22And the Surah that was revealed after the migration is called Madani.
03:26Whether it was revealed in Madinah or outside of Madinah.
03:31So this Surah is the Makki Surah, Surah Al-A'la.
03:36Some people have called it Madani Surah, but their saying is not correct.
03:40The correct Hadith proves their contradiction.
03:44There is a famous Hadith in Bukhari Sharif of Hazrat Bara bin Azib.
03:49He says that when Muslims came to Madinah,
03:53first of all to learn the Qur'an,
03:56before the Prophet came to Madinah,
04:00the Prophet sent Hazrat Mus'ab bin Umair and Hazrat Ibn Umme Maktum.
04:07These two people came to Madinah to learn the Qur'an.
04:12Then Hazrat Ammar, Hazrat Bilal and Hazrat Sa'ad came to Madinah.
04:19Then Sayyiduna Farooq-e-Azam came to Madinah with his 20 companions.
04:25Then Sayyiduna Rasool Allah came to Madinah.
04:28And when Sayyiduna Rasool Allah came to Madinah,
04:30Hazrat Bara bin Azib says that I have never seen the people of Madinah
04:35more happy and joyful than the day when the people of Madinah said this.
04:41The children were saying that these people have come
04:44who are the Messengers of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them.
04:48So when Sayyiduna Rasool Allah came to Madinah,
04:50in a Hadith, Hazrat Bara bin Azib says that
04:53the Surahs that I used to read at that time also included Surah Al-A'la.
04:58So this is a Hadith from Bukhari which says that
05:01when the Prophet came to Madinah after his migration,
05:06the Surah Al-A'la had been revealed before him
05:10and Hazrat Bara bin Azib remembered it.
05:13So when he came to know that this Surah, Surah Al-A'la, is a Makkiya Surah,
05:17it was revealed before his migration, it is not a Madani Surah.
05:21And whoever has said that it is a Madani Surah,
05:23his statement is weak.
05:25The statement of the people is that it is a Makkiya Surah.
05:28Then the importance of this Surah is that
05:31the Prophet was very fond of this Surah.
05:34This is also explained in a Hadith
05:37that the Prophet used to love this Surah, Surah Al-A'la.
05:43And on special occasions, he used to recite it in his prayers.
05:48The Hadith says that the Prophet used to recite Surah Al-A'la
05:52on both Eids and Jummah.
05:58And further, the Hadith says that
06:00on special occasions, the Prophet used to recite
06:05Surah Al-A'la and Surah Al-Ghashiyah on both Eids and Jummah.
06:10This is Surah Al-A'la and the next Surah is Surah Al-Ghashiyah.
06:15The Prophet used to recite Surah Al-A'la first and then Surah Al-Ghashiyah.
06:23The Prophet used to recite Surah Al-A'la first and then Surah Al-Ghashiyah on both Eids.
06:29Similarly, the Hadith says that the Prophet used to recite Surah Al-A'la
06:36on the first rak'ah of Witr.
06:38On the second rak'ah, he used to recite Surah Al-Kafiroon.
06:41On the third rak'ah, he used to recite Surah Ikhlas.
06:44This is also proven by the Hadith.
06:48Similarly, it is also proven by the Hadith
06:50that the Prophet used to recite Surah Al-A'la in Zuhr prayer.
06:56He used to recite Surah Al-A'la in Asr prayer.
07:00This proves that the Prophet used to like this Surah a lot
07:05and he used to recite this Surah in his prayers.
07:10We should do the same.
07:11We are commanded to recite the Quran.
07:14We should recite the Quran in our prayers.
07:18We can recite the Quran anywhere after reciting Surah Al-Fatiha.
07:22However, we should recite the Surahs that are mentioned in the Hadith
07:28in order to show the blessed way of the Prophet.
07:35This is a blessing of the Quran.
07:38However, if we find out that the Prophet
07:42recited this Surah in a particular way at a particular time,
07:46then we cannot say that it is a blessing of the Quran.
07:47Allah's Beloved has recited this Surah.
07:49You know that Allah's Beloved has recited this Surah.
07:51He does not speak with his inner desires.
07:57Whatever is revealed to him, he says it in light of it.
08:01Therefore, reciting a particular Surah in a particular way
08:07is not useless and it is not a coincidence.
08:10The actions of the Prophet are not coincidental.
08:15If they were coincidental,
08:17then when a statement or action is related to the Prophet,
08:23then it is a blessing.
08:26It is not just a blessing.
08:27Blessings are blessings.
08:29In order to show the blessed way of the Prophet,
08:34we should recite Surah Al-A'la in our Friday prayers.
08:40Recite Surah Al-A'la on the occasion of Eid.
08:43In Zuhr prayer, a person can recite Surah Al-A'la.
08:46A person who is reciting alone can recite Surah Al-A'la.
08:49Besides this, one should recite Surah Al-A'la.
08:52One should recite it after understanding
08:54that the Prophet was in love with this Surah.
08:58This Surah is called Surah Al-A'la
09:01because in the first verse of it,
09:03it is mentioned that Allah is the Greatest.
09:13This is why it is called Surah Al-A'la.
09:16It is also called Surah Al-A'la and Surah Al-Sabbih
09:20which is the first word of this Surah.
09:23It is also called Surah Al-Sabbih.
09:26This is why it is called Surah Al-A'la.
09:29It is narrated by Hazrat Aqabah bin Amir
09:33that when this verse of Surah Al-Waqi'ah was revealed,
09:35Surah Al-Waqi'ah
09:38the Prophet said,
09:40Surah Al-Waqi'ah
09:45This is why we say,
09:47Surah Al-Waqi'ah
09:49When this verse of Surah Al-A'la was revealed,
09:51Surah Al-Waqi'ah
09:53the Prophet said,
09:55Surah Al-Waqi'ah
09:58This is why when we do Sajdah,
10:01we say,
10:04Surah Al-Waqi'ah
10:06It is said in the verse,
10:09Surah Al-Waqi'ah
10:14We say,
10:17Surah Al-Waqi'ah
10:20We say this in Sajdah.
10:23Similarly,
10:24the Prophet's style of action is mentioned in the Hadith.
10:28Whenever he recited it,
10:32when he recited the first verse,
10:35he would stop and say,
10:37Surah Al-Waqi'ah
10:40This is the way of the Prophet.
10:42When he recites the first verse,
10:45there is a command in the verse.
10:48This is a command.
10:49Recite the name of your Lord, the Most High.
10:53The Prophet immediately carried out this command.
10:55It could have been said after the Surah as well.
11:00But the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him,
11:01was in a hurry to carry out the command of Allah.
11:09He stopped reciting the verse and said,
11:12Surah Al-Waqi'ah
11:14So that the command of this verse can be carried out.
11:18That is why we should recite it separately.
11:21In Salah as well as when reciting it.
11:24Recite it with understanding.
11:25When reciting the first verse,
11:29with the intention of carrying out the command of Allah,
11:33with the intention of carrying out the command of Allah,
11:36with the intention of carrying out the command of Allah,
11:38we should say, Surah Al-Waqi'ah
11:40So that we can receive its blessings.
11:43We will take a short break here.
11:46We hope you will stay with us.
11:48Welcome back, viewers.
11:49Before taking a break, we were discussing
11:52that the first verse in Surah Al-A'la,
11:55after reciting this verse,
11:58the Prophet, peace be upon him,
12:01used to say the words,
12:05so we should also recite this Surah
12:09with the intention of carrying out the command of Allah,
12:12with the intention of carrying out the command of Allah,
12:16we should say,
12:17Subhanarabiyal Aala.
12:19By the way, the recitation of the Holy Qur'an
12:22is also a matter of reward.
12:25It is rewarded.
12:27But it is the right of the Qur'an
12:29that along with reciting the Qur'an,
12:31we should contemplate upon it.
12:35After contemplating upon it,
12:37we should understand it and act upon it.
12:39This is one of the rights of the Qur'an.
12:43Reciting the Qur'an is also a right of the Qur'an.
12:46Contemplating upon the Qur'an
12:48and understanding it is also a right of the Qur'an.
12:51And then acting upon the teachings of the Qur'an
12:53is also a right of the Qur'an.
12:56So, do not be content with just reciting the Qur'an
13:00and never trying to understand it.
13:03This is a book, a book of guidance.
13:05Its purpose has been stated
13:08that people should contemplate upon it.
13:10When they contemplate upon it and act upon it,
13:13this is a book of guidance.
13:14It is a book of guidance.
13:15It is a book of life.
13:17It is a complete code of life.
13:19This Qur'an is the straightest path.
13:23This Qur'an is the straightest path.
13:27We will be guided only when we try to understand it.
13:33So, whenever we read the Qur'an,
13:35reciting the Qur'an is also a right of the Qur'an.
13:40But do not be content with just reciting the Qur'an.
13:42Instead, try to understand the Qur'an.
13:46And make it a routine to read a few verses a day.
13:50It is a good thing to read a few pages a day.
13:52Otherwise, you cannot read a few pages a day.
13:55You should read a few verses a day.
13:57You should read three verses a day.
13:58You should read two verses a day.
13:59You should read one verse a day.
13:59But make it a routine to read a few verses a day.
14:01At least once.
14:03At least once, we should try to understand the Qur'an.
14:10We are Muslims.
14:11And this is the demand of our religion that we should understand the Qur'an.
14:16So, I wish we could try to understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
14:22Those who know Arabic, they can understand the Qur'an directly.
14:25Those who know Arabic, they can understand the Qur'an directly.
14:28Those who do not know Arabic,
14:29those who are Urdu speakers or those who speak other languages,
14:32they can understand the Qur'an directly from the beginning to the end.
14:38So, you should try to understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
14:47It is not necessary that you should understand everything.
14:51There are many things that are difficult to understand.
14:54The Qur'an is the only guidance.
14:55So, ask the people of knowledge if you do not know.
15:03If you do not understand something,
15:05you should consult a scholar and try to understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
15:11Not everyone can understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
15:13There are pearls in the Qur'an.
15:15Who will give you the pearls?
15:16The diver will give you the pearls.
15:18The expert will give you the pearls.
15:21So, you should try to understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
15:23If you do not understand the Qur'an,
15:24you should consult a scholar and try to understand the Qur'an from the beginning to the end.
15:29There is no harm in learning the Qur'an.
15:31Now, let us look at these verses of Surah Al-A'la.
15:35These are the last verses of Surah Al-A'la from verse 14 to verse 19.
15:4014, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19.
15:431, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
15:45These are the six verses of the Qur'an which we have been honoured to recite.
15:49What is being said in these six verses?
15:52Let me first explain the central theme of the Qur'an in a few words.
15:56Then, I will explain it in detail in order to understand its meaning and meanings.
16:02The central theme of the Qur'an is that
16:04the Qur'an is a reflection of the Qur'an and the Prophet of Allah.
16:09Every incentive,
16:11a person makes a move out of greed or fear.
16:17Sometimes, a person does something out of fear.
16:20Sometimes, a person does something out of greed.
16:23A person wants to benefit from something.
16:26Sometimes, a person does something out of greed or fear.
16:31The Qur'an has put both of these methods in front of us.
16:37Tabsheer and Inzaar.
16:39Tabsheer means to give good news.
16:41Inzaar means to scare.
16:44It is also called Targheeb and Tarheeb.
16:46Tarheeb means to give good news.
16:48Tarheeb means to scare.
16:50The Qur'an uses both of these methods.
16:54Both of these methods are used in the Qur'an.
16:57You will see both Tabsheer and Inzaar.
17:00This is the will of Allah.
17:04Allah wants His servants to be successful.
17:10He wants His servants to enter Paradise.
17:12He wants His servants to be saved from Hell.
17:15Sometimes, Allah gives greed or fear.
17:18He says, if you do this, you will benefit from this.
17:23Sometimes, Allah is afraid of His wrath and punishment.
17:27If you don't do this, you will suffer from this and that.
17:32So, there is a concept of Jada Sada.
17:35So, there is fear and greed.
17:37Both of these methods are used to guide and reform a person.
17:44So, we know that the righteous and the Mubaligh
17:47should use Tabsheer and Inzaar.
17:51You should not always give good news.
17:55You should not always mention the benefits.
17:57You should not always mention the rewards.
18:00This is not the right way.
18:02You should always do this.
18:03But it is not right to always do this
18:05and not to mention the fear of God.
18:09Similarly, you should always scare.
18:11You should always talk about fear and Sada.
18:14You should not mention the rewards and Tabsheer.
18:17This is also not right.
18:18So, this is the method of the Quran.
18:20This is the method of the Quran and the method of the Prophet.
18:23Both Tabsheer and Inzaar are equal.
18:26You should take both of them in parallel.
18:27Sometimes, you should use Tabsheer and sometimes Inzaar.
18:31So that the wisdom of the Quran
18:33and the wisdom of the Prophet should follow that wisdom
18:37and benefit from it.
18:39This is the important thing for Dawah and Tabligh.
18:43So, in this, it is mentioned that
18:45the one who does not follow the advice
18:47and the one who follows the advice
18:49and the one who does not follow the advice
18:51then he is Ashqa, he is Badbaqt.
18:53Then, his regret is mentioned.
18:55Then, his Sada and Eid are mentioned in the previous verses.
18:58After that, there is a picture of Ashqa, of Badbaqt.
19:02Now, in comparison to this,
19:03there is another picture of Mutawazi, of Saeed,
19:07who is Khushbaqt.
19:08There is a picture of Badnaseeb and now there is a picture of Khushnaseeb.
19:11First, there is a picture of Badnaseeb.
19:13Now, there is a picture of Khushnaseeb
19:15and it is being told that who is Khushnaseeb,
19:18who is Kamiyab.
19:19The one who purifies his Nafs,
19:22purifies his Nafs,
19:24then remembers the name of his Lord,
19:26then performs Salah
19:28and prioritizes the life of the hereafter
19:30over the life of the world.
19:32And the one who does not do this is Shaki.
19:34Further, it is said that this advice is not only in the Qur'an,
19:39but also in the books given to the Prophets before the Qur'an.
19:43This advice has also been given to them.
19:46They have also been told that who is Kamiyab?
19:50The one who purifies his Nafs,
19:53purifies his Nafs,
19:55purifies his Nafs,
19:56remembers the name of his Lord,
19:58performs Salah
19:59and prioritizes the life of the hereafter
20:00over the life of the world.
20:03So, this is the central meaning of this.
20:05I have mentioned the central meaning.
20:07Now, let's move on to the analysis of the words of the verses.
20:11First of all, what is being said is Aflaha.
20:13Aflaha means success.
20:18It is from Falah.
20:19It is derived from Falah.
20:20This is called Falah, success.
20:23So, here it is being told how a person can achieve success.
20:29In the world, we get worried,
20:31we ask, we search,
20:33we listen to motivational speakers,
20:35we attend their lectures,
20:37we see if we can find a way to achieve success.
20:40We meet the experienced people,
20:42we learn from them,
20:42we try to find a way to achieve success.
20:44Allah has mentioned the method of success in the Qur'an.
20:50So, if you open the Qur'an,
20:51you will find the word Falah in it.
20:53How will you achieve success?
20:54The Qur'an is telling you how you will achieve success.
20:56This is how you will achieve success.
20:58This is how you will achieve success.
21:00You should purify your Lower Self,
21:02you should remember the name of your Lord,
21:03you should offer Salah,
21:05and you should give precedence to the life of the Hereafter over the life of the world.
21:09Now, here Falah is common.
21:11It is not that there is only Falah in the Qur'an.
21:14In the Qur'an,
21:16when a person ponders over the verses of the Qur'an,
21:20he will understand what is common.
21:22In the Qur'an, there is the success of the Hereafter,
21:25and in the Qur'an, there is the success of the world.
21:27The Qur'an mentions the success of the Hereafter,
21:31and it also mentions the success of the world.
21:35The success of the Hereafter is obvious.
21:37You are remembering your Lord,
21:38you are purifying your Lower Self,
21:39you are offering Salah.
21:40So, the success of the Hereafter is obvious.
21:42The success of the world?
21:43The success of the world is obvious
21:45because when you act upon it,
21:47special blessings will be bestowed upon you by Allah.
21:52When blessings are to be bestowed upon you by Allah,
21:55the difficulties that will come upon you,
21:58the calamities that will come upon you,
21:59will be averted by the blessings of Allah.
22:02The second thing is that
22:04whatever work you have to do,
22:06there will be blessings in it.
22:08Even if it is a little work,
22:10but there will be blessings in it.
22:11Being a little is not a blessing.
22:13Sometimes, a little work is enough for a person.
22:17This is also a blessing.
22:18So, sometimes it is a lot of work,
22:20and sometimes it is a little work,
22:22but it is enough for a person.
22:24This is also a form of blessing.
22:27So, when a person acts upon the commandments of Allah,
22:29he attains these blessings.
22:31When he attains blessings,
22:32then his mind opens up.
22:34When the mercy of Allah comes,
22:35the mind opens up,
22:36the heart opens up,
22:37all kinds of ideas come to him,
22:40good thoughts come to him,
22:41which are put in the mind of a person
22:44by the angels of Allah.
22:46When a person adopts those methods,
22:48acts upon those ideas,
22:50then the world of a person also becomes peaceful.
22:52The Hereafter is not peaceful.
22:53The world is also a physical thing.
22:55You have to adapt to your actions.
22:57The actions that you have to do,
22:58the actions that you have to do,
22:59the benefit of the world also has to come from action.
23:02So, before you do that action,
23:04you will think that I should do this work,
23:07I should do this work like this.
23:09So, I should do this work,
23:11I am talking about a permissible work,
23:13and I should do it like this,
23:14I am talking about a permissible way.
23:15So, who puts these thoughts in a person's heart?
23:18These thoughts are put in the heart of a person
23:20by Allah.
23:22So, when a person is a recipient of the blessings of Allah,
23:25his mind opens up,
23:27his heart becomes peaceful,
23:29he begins to see his worldly success,
23:33he begins to know that if I adopt this method,
23:35then I will have this benefit,
23:37and also the worldly benefit.
23:38So, the Hereafter has to happen in its place.
23:40The worldly benefit is also achieved.
23:42So, whoever purifies the mind,
23:45Ladies and gentlemen,
23:46it is time for a short break here.
23:48We hope that you will stay with us.
23:50Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back.
23:51Before going on the break,
23:52we were talking about success and success,
23:55that the success and success of the Hereafter is also achieved,
23:57and the success and success of the world is also achieved.
23:59Those people who follow this,
24:01which we will discuss later.
24:03So, it is said,
24:03Man tazakka jo apna tazkiya kare.
24:07What is the meaning of tazakka?
24:08Tazakka means purification.
24:12Who should be purified?
24:14Purify your mind and heart
24:17from bad beliefs,
24:19from bad thoughts,
24:21from inner sins,
24:22and purify your deeds,
24:24your actions,
24:27from physical evil.
24:29So, there are two things here.
24:31There are two types of sins.
24:33One is those sins
24:34which are related to the heart,
24:36to our body,
24:38to our body parts.
24:41There are some sins
24:42which are related to the heart,
24:44to the mind.
24:45That a person is not committing any physical crime,
24:49but the bad thoughts
24:51which are coming to his mind,
24:52and he is doing good deeds,
24:54and he is doing good deeds,
24:56which is coming to his mind,
24:57this is an inner sin.
24:59Similarly, there are some things
25:00which are related to thoughts and ideas.
25:04Not having faith in Allah,
25:07having jealousy in the heart.
25:09Obviously, a person is not doing any such thing,
25:10but he has jealousy in his heart.
25:12Having hatred in the heart.
25:14Having bad beliefs.
25:17These are all inner sins.
25:19One is those sins
25:20which are related to the physical body,
25:22and the other is those sins
25:24which are related to the heart.
25:26We have been commanded to avoid
25:28both types of sins.
25:30And to leave the physical and inner sins.
25:33And to leave the physical and inner sins.
25:35This is stated in the Quran.
25:36There are two explanations for this.
25:37One explanation is to leave the physical sins.
25:40That is, do not commit physical sins,
25:42nor in front of people,
25:43and do not commit sins in private.
25:45And the second explanation is to leave the physical sins,
25:47leave the physical sins,
25:49and leave the inner sins.
25:51So, the purification,
25:53is to purify oneself from all kinds of impurities.
25:56To purify oneself from all kinds of bad deeds.
25:59Whether those bad deeds are related to thoughts and ideas,
26:03with faith, with beliefs.
26:06Whether those bad deeds are related to actions,
26:09with deeds.
26:10Whether those bad deeds are related to the law.
26:14Whether those bad deeds are related to circumstances.
26:17So, to purify oneself from all these things,
26:21is the purification of the Lower Self.
26:24So, the first thing is,
26:25what is included in purification?
26:27To avoid disbelief and polytheism.
26:28Then, to avoid misguidance.
26:30Then, after this,
26:30there are other levels of punishment.
26:33By the way, some commentators say,
26:35that the purification here means,
26:37to avoid special disbelief and polytheism.
26:39And some people say,
26:40that it also means to avoid disbelief and polytheism.
26:42And it also means to avoid other sins.
26:45And in the Quran,
26:46there are two possibilities.
26:49And the general instruction that has been given to us is,
26:53that we have to avoid disbelief and polytheism.
26:55And we have to avoid other sins.
26:57We have to keep our thoughts and ideas pure.
26:59We have to keep our actions, deeds, circumstances and circumstances pure.
27:03We have to keep them pure and clean.
27:04So, there is no doubt,
27:06that if the Tadakka is included here,
27:09on all kinds of purity.
27:11Whether it is related to avoiding disbelief and polytheism.
27:14Whether it is related to avoiding other sins.
27:16Whether it is related to the power of vision.
27:17Whether it is related to the power of deeds.
27:19In all of these, the name of purity is Tadakka.
27:22That a person should purify himself.
27:23And then what should he do?
27:24And then what should he do?
27:26And he should remember the name of his Lord.
27:29Firstly, we have to purify ourselves.
27:31We have to avoid disbelief and polytheism.
27:32We have to avoid sins.
27:34We have to avoid bad deeds.
27:35We have to avoid bad thoughts.
27:37We have to avoid bad beliefs.
27:39We have to avoid bad sentences.
27:41We have to avoid bad words.
27:43We have to avoid bad actions.
27:45And then what should we do?
27:46When we avoid these things, what happens?
27:49When a person is purified, what should he do?
27:51He should remember the name of his Lord.
27:53The tongue has been given to a person
27:55to remember Allah.
27:58And you see, when it is mentioned about Salah,
28:00it says,
28:00And establish Salah for my remembrance.
28:04So, the remembrance of Allah is the central position
28:08in the life of a believer.
28:10So, the central position should be given
28:12to the central position.
28:14The life of the one who is perfect in faith
28:15is the central position.
28:16So, in our lives too, the central position
28:19should be that of Allah's remembrance.
28:21And it is said,
28:22And those who have faith love Allah most.
28:25And those who have faith
28:26love Allah most.
28:28And those who have faith love Allah most.
28:30It is said in the Quran.
28:32And those who love Allah most.
28:34And it has been mentioned in the narrations
28:36that one of the manifestations of love is a mother.
28:38And those who love Allah most
28:41love Allah most.
28:44So, when a person loves Allah most,
28:47he will remember Allah most.
28:50So, we have to remember Allah.
28:51And this remembrance of Allah,
28:53we have to do it with the tongue
28:56We have to remember Allah with our hearts.
28:58We have to remember Him with our hearts.
29:00We have to remember Him with our tongues.
29:02And we have to contemplate
29:05and reflect upon the blessings of Allah.
29:07And we should have the emotions of gratitude.
29:10Gratitude.
29:12We should have the emotions of gratitude.
29:14We should bow down to Allah.
29:16We should love Allah.
29:17We should gain the knowledge of Allah.
29:19We should yearn for Allah.
29:22This is also what we should do.
29:23We should have the remembrance of Allah
29:25in our hearts.
29:27It should be strong.
29:28This is what we have to do.
29:35So, here it is mentioned in the name of Allah.
29:36It is mentioned in the name of Salah.
29:37Some people say that Namaz-e-Panjgana is meant.
29:39And some people say that it is meant
29:41to have absolute happiness and contentment.
29:42All physical worship is meant.
29:44To do Tazkiyah-e-Nafs.
29:46To remember Allah.
29:47And then to perform all physical worship.
29:50And the mention of Salah is an example.
29:52Salah is the first thing in physical worship.
29:54The first thing is to perform Qiyamah.
29:56Salah is one of the rights of Allah.
29:57So, it is important.
29:58That is why it is mentioned as an example.
30:00Otherwise, it means that all physical worship
30:03which is commanded by Allah,
30:05should be performed.
30:06And some people argue that
30:08it is important to say Takbeer-e-Tahrimah.
30:12It is mentioned in the name of Allah.
30:15We should remember the name of Allah
30:17and then perform Salah.
30:17So, we should say Takbeer
30:19and enter into Salah.
30:21So, when it is important to say Takbeer-e-Tahrimah,
30:23the jurists argue with this verse.
30:26Then it is said that
30:27you prefer the life of this world to the hereafter.
30:31Although the hereafter is going to remain.
30:33The hereafter is better.
30:34So, prefer the hereafter.
30:36So, not only with the tongue,
30:38not only with belief,
30:39but it should be evident from our actions
30:42and gestures that we prefer the hereafter.
30:46Then in the end it is said that
30:47this advice is also mentioned in the earlier Sahihs.
30:49All the Prophets who have come
30:51have brought the same advice.
30:53They also followed it.
30:54Those who did not follow it,
30:55they were harmed.
30:56Those who followed it,
30:58they were successful.
30:59This advice was also given in the Sahihs of Hazrat Ibrahim.
31:01This advice was also given in the Sahihs of Hazrat Musa.
31:03You also have this advice.
31:04If you follow it, you will be successful.
31:06If you do not follow it,
31:07you will be lost.
31:08We pray to Allah that
31:10may Allah enable us to purify our egos.
31:15And may Allah enable us to follow
31:18what is rightfully His.
31:23And in the end,
31:24all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
31:27If you have any questions,
31:29ask them.
31:30Any questions?
31:31In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
31:33As you have said,
31:34that purification of the egos
31:36and being doubtful.
31:39Please tell us about this.
31:44And secondly,
31:45what about bad thoughts?
31:48Is there any punishment for this?
31:51Good question.
31:53You have asked a good question.
31:54Doubtful means unfortunate,
31:56and fortunate means fortunate.
31:59On one side is fortunate,
32:00and on the other side is doubtful.
32:01Fortunate means fortunate.
32:03It is a blessing from Allah.
32:05It is a reward from Allah.
32:07It does good deeds.
32:09It has good beliefs.
32:10And as a result of this,
32:11may Allah forgive him
32:14and let him enter paradise.
32:15This is fortunate.
32:17And doubtful means unfortunate.
32:18It is a person who does bad deeds,
32:20has bad beliefs,
32:21and may Allah punish him
32:24and not forgive him.
32:26This is doubtful.
32:27He is unfortunate.
32:28May Allah protect us from doubtfulness,
32:30from unfortunate,
32:32may He make us fortunate,
32:33and include us in the family of the fortunate.
32:35And the remaining thing is
32:36to hold on to bad thoughts.
32:38There is only one way to get rid of bad thoughts.
32:41This is the blessing and mercy of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
32:45that one should not only hold on to bad thoughts.
32:47When should we hold on to them?
32:48When a person holds on to bad thoughts in his heart.
32:52That is, he has a firm intention
32:53that now I will do this work.
32:56That is, having a firm intention
32:57is holding on to it,
32:59is attached to it.
33:00Even if he does not do that work,
33:01he will still be attached to it
33:02because he had made his intention firm.
33:05So, the firm intention of doing bad deeds
33:08is holding on to it.
33:09It is a sin.
33:09So, it is important to repent from it
33:11and it is also important to be saved from it.
33:14Ghamidi Sahab, I have a question for you.
33:16Often people do not remember Durood-e-Ibrahim in Salah.
33:21Some people who read the Qur'an,
33:24they do read it.
33:26But those who do not remember,
33:27can they recite a small Durood?
33:29Yes, that is a good question.
33:30As far as Durood Sharif is concerned,
33:32first keep in mind that
33:33we have been taught Durood-e-Ibrahim.
33:36Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. himself has taught it.
33:39So, it should be that we all remember Durood-e-Ibrahim.
33:43If no one remembers it,
33:45then try to remember Durood-e-Ibrahim
33:47and then recite Durood-e-Ibrahim in Salah.
33:50We prefer this.
33:53This is the preference.
33:55This is the Sunnah that a person should recite Durood-e-Ibrahim.
33:57But if no one remembers Durood-e-Ibrahim
34:01and despite trying, they do not remember it,
34:03then even if they recite a small Durood Sharif,
34:06Salah is performed.
34:08It does not affect Salah.
34:10But it is better for a person to recite Durood-e-Ibrahim.
34:13Durood-e-Ibrahim is a commandment.
34:14It is a teaching.
34:15So, give importance to the teachings of the Prophet of Allah.
34:17Viewers, today we discussed
34:19Surah Al-A'la from verse 14 to verse 19.
34:23We tried to understand its meaning and meanings.
34:26May Allah enable us to follow it as it should.
34:31And may Allah strengthen the love of the Quran in our hearts.
34:34May Allah enable us to fulfill the rights of the Quran.
34:37May Allah enable us to recite the Quran.
34:40May Allah enable us to reflect upon the Quran
34:42and to understand it and to act upon it.
34:43And may Allah enable us to convey it to others in the right way
34:46and to implement it in our lives.
34:50May Allah bless us.
34:51And finally, we say that all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
35:34May Allah bless you.
