Elon Musk, the visionary entrepreneur behind Tesla, has revolutionized the automotive industry with his electric vehicles and ambitious plans for sustainable energy. From the sleek Model 3 and Model X to the futuristic Cybertruck, Tesla's lineup has captured the imagination of consumers worldwide.

Tesla's commitment to sustainability extends beyond its vehicles. The company's Solar Roof and Solar Panels offer homeowners the opportunity to generate their own clean energy. This aligns perfectly with Musk's goal of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy.

Beyond cars and energy, Musk's empire also includes SpaceX, a company focused on space exploration and commercial spaceflight. SpaceX's Starlink satellite constellation aims to provide high-speed internet access to underserved areas around the globe.

Musk's entrepreneurial ventures have made him one of the richest men in the world, and his influence extends beyond business. He is a vocal advocate for artificial intelligence and has expressed concerns about its potential risks. Musk's company Neuralink is developing brain-machine interfaces with the goal of enhancing human cognition.

Tesla's success has been reflected in its stock price, which has seen significant growth in recent years. Investors have been drawn to the company's innovative products, strong market position, and Musk's visionary leadership.

As Tesla continues to expand its operations and introduce new products, the company's future looks bright. With Musk at the helm, Tesla is poised to play a major role in shaping the future of transportation and energy.

00:00Last night Tesla unveiled some of their most ambitious projects yet with their robot event
00:05I got a chance to go to it to see the robots up close in the cyber cab and I want to take you guys along with
00:11Me and give you my thoughts on how realistic this stuff is how it's gonna change all of our futures
00:16And if you should be scared of these robots or not
00:18So welcome to the Warner Brothers lot
00:20This is where Tesla had the event and I quickly got the impression that this was not gonna be like other Tesla events
00:26They spent millions of dollars on this event
00:27I think they really want to impress shareholders and get people hyped up about what they're talking about
00:33So they went all out. So I'm on the Warner Brothers a lot
00:36I love how I was vlogging earlier today like Oh Tesla events, you know, they don't have food or anything
00:40So like got food before I know they've stepped it up this time guys. They've got pizza being freshly made
00:46This is like Disneyland in general
00:50I don't think people have been super optimistic about Tesla stock and such because you know
00:55They're not delivering as many cars because everyone who bought a one already bought one
00:58So this is their way of getting people hyped up on the future of Tesla again. We get in here
01:03There's this map and I already saw a sign that says to give feedback of your robo taxi ride after you take it
01:10So we're for sure getting robo taxi rides, which is gonna be super cool. I'm hype but check out this map
01:15It's like Tesla
01:18Disneyland, okay, so we've got Westworld, New York the Tesla theater
01:22So I think we're gonna be able to like ride around to all these different spots
01:27How crazy is this? Are we gonna see a robot though?
01:30I haven't seen one of the robots yet, but I have a feeling they might be around
01:34So now the exciting part when they actually announced stuff. So Elon first showed up in a cyber cab
01:40this is our first look at this thing and
01:42no one knew if there was gonna be a new car or if it was just going to be announcing that
01:47Existing cars would be able to be a part of the robo taxi fleet and it's actually both
01:52So they announced this new car, which is exciting because it's gonna be the cheapest Tesla ever
01:56They're aiming to make it under $30,000. Although it's only two seats. I really like the design
02:02They didn't go too crazy on this like they did with the cyber truck
02:05I feel like it's universally pretty well liked and you'll notice it has no steering wheel and no pedals
02:11So it is intended to be fully autonomous with no option to drive yourself and they did have them driving around
02:16But you have to remember this is a closed set. This is not a real city street
02:21I'll get into more details on my thoughts on this overall later
02:24But they announced two more cool things we need to talk about the first one being the optimist robots
02:28Which were in fact wandering around the event and we could interact with them
02:32They announced that these will cost between twenty and thirty thousand dollars and it can be your assistant or humanoid friend
02:39So it will be able to talk to you
02:40I do like the idea of this thing being able to clean for you
02:44They said it'll be able to walk your dog even take care of your kids and help them with your homework
02:48Which is kind of crazy
02:49I know people are very scared of this but Elon said there's an 80% chance that they won't turn on us
02:55So, I don't know. I feel like we need to be at a hundred percent. So similar to the cyber cab
03:00They're really showing the idea of this and a demonstration
03:03But it's not fully ready yet because when wandering around the event and talking to them
03:07It was clear that it's most likely someone remote connecting in and somebody was controlling these just listen to the way that it talks to me
03:14How's your night going good
03:17super cool seeing all this stuff is a little too good at talking that most people at the event figured that this was someone on a
03:23Speaker who was talking for the robot
03:34So again, these aren't quite ready yet
03:36But it is cool to see what they will be like one day and Elon even said that this will be the biggest product ever
03:42Of any kind so he thinks that this is going to transcend even the cars and the last new thing
03:47They announced was pretty unexpected. It was the robo van
03:50It's supposed to be a 20 seater van or you can take the seats out and just haul things around with it fully autonomous
03:57I thought it was cool that the seats face each other
03:59It's like a more futuristic sprinter van their goal with these is to get the cost of transportation down to 20 cents a mile
04:05Which would be crazy. I do think that this is gonna be a while until these actually come out. The design is really interesting
04:11It's kind of art deco inspired. It reminds me of a slug. Honestly, just the way that it's so low to the ground
04:17I mean, I think this will be a cool product when it eventually comes out but similar to the Tesla semi trucks
04:22I don't think this is gonna be a top priority
04:24So all of this is pretty exciting crazy stuff and some of it might scare you what I realized when interacting with it
04:31Is this stuff isn't quite ready yet?
04:33It's more of a vision for the future and it's gonna be you know
04:35A couple years at the earliest until we see this stuff in real life the cyber cab and the robo taxi service
04:41I think is top priority and gonna be the first thing that we see so I did get to go on a test drive
04:45Although I was disappointed because I waited for two hours and then they cut off the cyber cab drives
04:51But I did get to go on a test drive with the Model Y where nobody was in the driver's seat
04:55But honestly, this didn't feel that crazy to me because Waymo is already doing this on real city streets in LA
05:00So I'm like, okay
05:01I've kind of already experienced this before but on a real street and I gotta be honest Waymo is a lot less
05:07Jerky in the way that it drives
05:08I don't fully trust the Tesla full self-driving yet
05:11I do think they have a ways to go before it's gonna be ready to be fully autonomous on city street
05:16But obviously I'm rooting for them. I think that they will get there. It's just not quite there yet
05:20So Tesla low-key they've fallen behind on this actually know the event last night was on a set and we're on a real
05:27Street right now and this thing's driving me around. So that was one thing about the event last night
05:32That was a little disappointing as they didn't announce that
05:34You know, the cars are gonna be out on the open road fully self-driving yet
05:38It was just limited to that set while as other companies like Waymo are already doing it
05:43So why is it that Waymo is already able to do this and Tesla can't yet?
05:47I think it really comes down to the technology that they're using Tesla's relying only on cameras for their full self-driving technology
05:54Waymo is using LiDAR and radar technology. Check this out when we get out of the Waymo
05:59You see this big thing on top. That's the LiDAR and the radar technology
06:03And that's why this thing feels safer
06:06I'll let it go do its thing Tesla gets a lot of criticism for not embracing LiDAR technology
06:11But Elon seems pretty stubborn that they're gonna be able to do with just the cameras
06:16So I was kind of hoping at this event
06:17They would go into detail with the cyber cabs if they would have LiDAR technology, but they really didn't so we don't know
06:23Maybe they will have them. Maybe they won't the thing that Tesla
06:26I think we'll be able to do that Waymo really struggles with is making it affordable
06:30These Waymo cars are really expensive and you can't buy that and when you ride around in one
06:35It's about the same price as an uber if not more expensive
06:38So I feel like it's just defeating the purpose of using technology because it's not making it cheaper Tesla's approach is different though
06:45They're gonna let you buy these they want them to be under $30,000
06:49They'll let you rent them out to people and you can make money from it
06:52They're expecting the cost to be as low as 30 to 40 cents a mile
06:56So it actually becomes practical to not even have a car anymore because the cost of car ownership it really adds up
07:02I have a fully paid off Tesla, but I pay about
07:06$5,000 a year just to insure it and park it again. I'm not trying to pit Waymo against Tesla
07:11I think it's cool what both of them are doing and it's great the more companies that are trying to get autonomous vehicles on the
07:17Road because of the overall effect that it could have on cities
07:19So much of LA is parking lots and parking garages and they could be turned into parks like this
07:25And that's kind of the point that Elon made in his presentation and it's so true
07:29Only self-driving cars wouldn't need to park they could just go drive away for five minutes and then come pick you up again
07:34I feel like it's gonna change cities for the better make them more walkable make them more green me personally
07:39I would love to see a future with more parks like this rather than parking garages, you know
07:43There's gonna be no distracted drivers or drunk drivers
07:46And that's why I'm so excited about all of this because I think it's bigger than just people not driving anymore
07:51It's how cities are going to look and it's going to be way better in my opinion. So overall, I'm excited
07:58I'm optimistic. I think what Tesla showed last night is
08:02Really cool. Yes, the robot is kind of scary
08:05I don't think I could sleep at night with one of those in my house
08:07But still I'm excited to see what happens with them
08:10I know a lot of people are scared about all these technologies
08:12But from what I've seen once you try it once you understand it, it actually is really exciting
08:17You know, everyone's afraid to get in those self-driving cars at first, but it's not that scary. Okay?
08:21It's really not a lot of uber drivers in LA are way scarier than a Waymo
08:25Okay, I hope you guys enjoyed my coverage on the Tesla event comment down below. You know what you think of all this stuff
08:30Are you excited? Are you a little bit nervous? I'd love to see I'd love to know
08:34Let's have a discussion in the comments and I'll see you in the next video. Bye
