00:00It's a great feeling because, you know, if you're making a house for somebody
00:03and everyone has the right to feel safe in their own home,
00:05so it's a great feeling to know that you're doing this and having an effect on somebody else.
00:14You start with your foundations, then your walls go up, you get to your joist level,
00:18your first floor walls then go up again, your roof trusses would then go on,
00:22your windows, and you'd then be working internally, so you'd then go through your pre-plaster.
00:27So all your pipe work, your electrics, your stud walls go up,
00:31you plaster the house and then it's painted, the doors go in, the sanctuary goes in,
00:35the kitchen goes in, and stuff like that.
00:37And when this house is finished, it will be fitted with all sorts of security.
00:41And then it comes with CCTV alarms, and you've got arson-proof letter plates,
00:46you've got security chains on the door,
00:48all sorts of extra security features, obviously, for the safeguarding.
00:52I think the Brick by Brick campaign is really important,
00:55not just for myself and everybody that's included in this development,
00:58the survivors of domestic abuse, and they've got children and things like that.
01:02It's just great to know that you're doing something for them,
01:05because there are obviously hundreds and thousands of people out there
01:08who are probably suffering with things like this.
