00:00DallasCowboys.com has why the drop-off, the Cowboys explain Lamb's second-half stats.
00:08What's the reason for it?
00:10Well, you know, what they say is that the defensive coordinators are making their adjustments.
00:17They're adjusting.
00:18They're not letting it happen.
00:19They're stopping the bleeding, and that's opening up things for the other guys.
00:25In the Pittsburgh game, that's exactly what we saw, because he did have a nice start to
00:30things, and then after that, they kind of shut that down, and then Tolbert had a big
00:36game, of course, and nine different guys, I believe, caught a pass in that game, which
00:42is how you want to do it.
00:43You definitely want to spread the ball around, and everybody have confidence, and Dak having
00:47confidence in those guys, but there's no doubt about it.
00:51I mean, CD's got to be the guy from one to four.
00:53I mean, first quarter to fourth quarter, and a fifth quarter if needed.
00:57I mean, that's what they're paying for.
00:59That's the playmaker that he is.
01:01So I hear what they're saying, and yes, they're making adjustments, but I thought, I would
01:07have assumed teams were adjusting on Jerry Rice for his entire career, and they were
01:12still making plays, and Randy Moth, and Michael Irvin, and those guys, and CD last year.
01:17So I just think it's a combination of, yes, they're making some adjustments, but they've
01:23got to figure out how to counter those adjustments and still get him on the move, make him plays.
01:29I don't think they're using him in space enough.
01:32I don't think that they're stacking him on the line of scrimmage with other guys.
01:35They're putting him in motion enough.
01:37There's ways, I think, that they need to do to get him going even more than what we're
01:42seeing in the first half.
