00:00Yep. The NFL refs have been announced for this week. The Cowboys get John Hussie. Don't
00:06let his name fool you. He's not going to just give it up. He is stingy with the penalty
00:10flags. He throws the second fewest in the NFL so far this year, but it's always good
00:15to look and see which penalties do the crews really emphasize because that'll, that'll
00:21show you some stuff.
00:22We were sitting in here for the pregame show a few weeks back. I think it was the giants
00:25game. And Brian, after looking at some things that said, watch out for 12 men on the field
00:30and like a little bit like, I mean, 12 men on the field, that's just do 12 guys get in
00:34there. But a lot of different times with the way the game's called or the way that things
00:38happen, you find that more penalties are more likely to happen or certain penalties are
00:41likely to happen.
00:43Brian said that. And then what do you know? There was a 12 men in the huddle call on the
00:47Cowboys in that game and Brian, Brian and nailed it. So the two areas where you need
00:51to watch out, even though he's thrown the second fewest flags in the NFL, his crew has
00:56thrown the most unnecessary roughness penalties in the NFL. So any sort of after the play
01:02chippiness or frustration, that one's going to get you flagged with John Hussey.
01:06In fact, Brian had a theory that I thought was interesting. He thinks that due to him
01:11throwing so few flags, you're going to get players that get chippy and irritated and
01:16annoyed that they're not getting stuff called. And then that's going to lead to pushing and
01:19shoving. And that's probably why there are so many unnecessary roughness calls. But we
01:24talk about Terry and Arnold and we, I think we've had it brought up by two different guests
01:28this week. Not just the Dan Campbell is going to throw a pass to an offensive lineman, but
01:32that Terry and Arnold, the corner there is one of the grabby is like most physical players
01:37in the NFL.
01:38And he's still learning how to use his hands and what he can get away with.
