00:00The AFL Amateur Football League agreed to postpone the second transfer window until 14 October 2024.
00:08The following year, almost half of the AFL teams faced the same situation.
00:12With the issue of the transfer seal between the ICT nations,
00:15it failed to be completed before the first date, which was supposed to end on 7 October.
00:19This is the first season where these teams have the opportunity to get the services of foreign players.
00:27And to get the services of foreign players is not easy because we have set the condition
00:32that only foreign players under the age of 21 are allowed to sign up to play in the A1 League.
00:39So, I understand that in terms of the availability of documentation and so on,
00:43it may take extra time for the league to run.
00:48This is the first time that the use of imported players in the AFL competition.
00:52To avoid a salary issue from occurring,
00:54the AFL took a decision to impose a six-month salary deposit for imported players
00:58with a sum of no more than RM15,000.
01:04We also set a maximum salary for foreign players, which is RM15,000.
01:12As we said at the beginning of the season, the maximum is RM15,000, not USD.
01:19And if you look at the average, the initial registration is not very high.
01:26The minimum salary for foreign players is around RM5,000.
