00:09to overcome all the challenges just by selling the title of strongman.

00:14Ironman Langkawi 2024 shows the competition of 57 professional athletes.

00:21This is when USD 100,000 of accumulated money to be collected.

00:26And Fernando Toldi from Brazil showed up just in time

00:29when he crossed the line with the time record of 8 hours 10 minutes 24 seconds.

00:34Interestingly, Toldi was left at the first 3.8 kilometers in the swimming discipline

00:39and was in 6th place before taking 4 hours to complete the 180-kilometer run.

00:44Still going strong, Toldi finished the 42.2-kilometer run at 3.50 pm

00:51for him to be the champion of Ironman Langkawi 2024

00:54and was described as one of the most challenging runs in his career.

01:30And yeah, that's very important here because this weather is brutal.

01:35So I think I did my best on all aid station and on the pace and everything.

01:40So yeah, I'm pretty happy.
