00:00The Malaysian Football Association election is getting more and more interesting

00:05when another outsider offers to take on the position in the Indian body.

00:10The individual is Iskandar Salih, a strength and conditioning jurist,

00:15with the aim of applying for FAM for the national football team.

00:20This is the second time Iskandar has expressed his desire to take on the position

00:25in the FAM after 2018.

00:28And he is the third outsider to do so after the president of the Malaysian Paralympic

00:33Assembly, MPM, Dato' Sri Megat Dishariman Zaharuddin,

00:37and former head of marketing and social responsibility, FAM, Saif Ismail.

00:55I am confident that I have done half of it, and the two or three people I have helped

01:00have represented the Malaysian Paralympic team.

01:03I even have a training module for the Malaysian Football Association.

01:09So I am confident that with my knowledge and expertise,

01:13I will be able to bring back the Malaysian Paralympic team

01:18in a short period of time.

01:23So this is what I really want.

01:26It's not because I want to be famous, or to pursue glamour,

01:31because I am confident.

01:36Although many individuals expressed their interest in taking on the position

01:40of FAM president, a maximum of only three judges can be formed.

01:44The situation can only happen if three candidates receive

01:47an equal number of votes from the 18 members of the FAM.

01:50Due to the conditions to win the competition,

01:53each individual must have at least six candidates

01:57on the last day of the competition on 16 January.
